Title: How do you see MtGox (objective/neutral, not rigged poll) Post by: ShadowOfHarbringer on March 05, 2011, 03:43:07 PM This is a new, better poll created because the previous one was ridiculously rigged:
( See http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4065.msg60298#msg60298 ) The questions are balanced so there is the same number of negative and positive answers. Title: Re: How do you see MtGox (objective, not rigged poll) Post by: N12 on March 05, 2011, 03:45:45 PM There’s no poll (yet?) in this thread.
Title: Re: How do you see MtGox (objective, not rigged poll) Post by: ShadowOfHarbringer on March 05, 2011, 03:48:29 PM Yeah, added it now.
For some weird reason, i could not add it outright. Title: Re: How do you see MtGox (objective/neutral, not rigged poll) Post by: OneFixt on March 05, 2011, 03:53:41 PM Please change #3 to something reasonable, perhaps the wording of #2 should go into the spot of #3.
Or, to actually be objective, just go with "do not trust at all, somewhat distrust, ... etc ..., somewhat trust , completely trust". Title: Re: How do you see MtGox (objective/neutral, not rigged poll) Post by: ShadowOfHarbringer on March 05, 2011, 04:02:55 PM How do you like it now ?
Please propose better/more objective options, I'm out of ideas. Title: Re: How do you see MtGox (objective/neutral, not rigged poll) Post by: OneFixt on March 05, 2011, 04:03:55 PM Almost. Mt. Gox is not MD Gox, so I'd sooner say that I trust it/him with significant sums of money rather than with my life.
Title: Re: How do you see MtGox (objective/neutral, not rigged poll) Post by: BCEmporium on March 05, 2011, 04:04:22 PM I think he's OK... but not knowing where to step into.
Wants to run a clearly black exchange, but to abide with law. Question is "what law"?! US law?! Why?! Not all his costumers are American, nor he for what it seams. Also there're thousands of "laws" around... ::) Title: Re: How do you see MtGox (objective/neutral, not rigged poll) Post by: ShadowOfHarbringer on March 05, 2011, 04:06:07 PM Almost. Mt. Gox is not MD Gox, so I'd sooner say that I trust it/him with significant sums of money rather than with my life. Fixed. Title: Re: How do you see MtGox (objective/neutral, not rigged poll) Post by: ShadowOfHarbringer on March 05, 2011, 04:13:24 PM OK, i think I am done with the poll options - version 3.0 stable is out.
Do you like it now ? Any more suggestions ? Title: Re: How do you see MtGox (objective/neutral, not rigged poll) Post by: ShadowOfHarbringer on March 05, 2011, 04:17:12 PM The thing that basically perked me here is that schizoid black/white market dual identity. Mtgox demonstrated to be inconsistent in this regard. I wish there was some clarity. (...) Or is it a "schizoid gray" market where ops decide on whether it is black or white based on how it is more profitable or convenient to them in every specific case. So far it seems that this one is the case. Correct me if I am wrong. Yes, that is exactly what i dislike about the case. Baron was an obvious scammer, but mtgox was definately hiding something / not playing open cards. This is why at some point i thought that mtgox is a scammer too. Well, this is not good tactics if you want to attract big players, serious people & people who are afraid of risk. For now, +1 is all that mtgox gets from me. To get more, he needs more openess & clarity. Title: Re: How do you see MtGox (objective/neutral, not rigged poll) Post by: SmokeTooMuch on March 05, 2011, 11:23:57 PM I trust Mt Gox as much as I'm trusting any other internet service.
(I prefer BitcoinMarket and am not using Mt Gox for personal/subjective reasons) Title: Re: How do you see MtGox (objective/neutral, not rigged poll) Post by: eMansipater on March 06, 2011, 12:23:09 AM The thing that basically perked me here is that schizoid black/white market dual identity...I wish there was some clarity. Good summary of bitcoin's current image, imho. Is there any way to see the results without voting?

Is there any way to see the results without voting? The point of this is for the poll to be objective. If you see the results before voting, then other votes will affect your opinion. |
