EDIT: I should clarify, I was never infected with a trojan, I have never even been to that website, I was just being a troll in chat and I received a full trade ban as a result. When (if  :-\ ) this gets lifted I think I'll be very careful in chat from now on. Some things may not be taken as a joke.

But it is good to see that btc-e has quite effective security measures designed to protect you.

My btc-e account has been banned/suspended for no reason.

I'm a long time member on btc-e and I have a high volume of trades.

I have done nothing wrong at all and all I get when I log in is:

"You has been banned. (IP xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx)"

I have submitted a support ticket but after searching the forums it seems some people have been unable to access their accounts for weeks after this happens. I have a lot of money there and have done nothing to warrant this.

What should I do next?

Probably nothing you can do but wait. Is there a number you can call?

I wish there was a number I could call. Only the online support ticket service.

It's so frustrating because I have done nothing wrong, and they have made a lot from me in fees.

Did you use TOR?

Did you log in to any other BTC-e account from the same IP address? Or did your wife or a friend log into their account via your IP address?

I got banned for a while simply because a friend came over and I helped him set up a new account on his laptop, but via my router, so when BTC-e saw two accounts logged in at the same time from the same IP address they kicked both of us.

We were back up and running within a day or so though, after contacting support and telling them the exact circumstances.

Hey, yeah I was banned too for no reason and when i checked the chat history thee same chat history came up, this stupid phishing site.

Contact admin via skype: btc-e_support from Thailand. The fastest way to be resolved. Although there is a little worried.

I`m surprised you survived this long with btc-e. Most comments I hear about that exchange is, where the money complaint of $1,000+.


As for your current situation, theres nothing really you can do besides getting a new ip?

Support stories are all bad on there, so good luck man.  :-\

btc-e is an excellent exchange, very resilient to all forms of attack whether legal, hacking or DDOS. The community is great, the trading is fast and reliable, and I've never had a single issue.

However support is horrible, if something goes wrong it takes a long time to have it resolved.

I am confident it'll be resolved, I just don't want to have to wait a month for them to do it.

My account was banned for a week. All my tickets are no comments.Talk to management through skype. He solved my problem.

If you indeed spammed your URLs as shown above then no wonder you got banned, I would ban you too.

Looks like the scammer stole your account password when you registered on his site and used your account to spam his site more.
He even recognized me as the person who got him banned last time, and regrettably got your account banned too Sebaztien.

I got banned with the same chat history dude, that site is phishing site and it will inject the trojan into your computer. So the chat history has nothing to do with the orignal account owner and they should take this in account.

Do not use skype to contact btc-e. All skype accounts are fake and I'm suspicious Peter1980 is a scammer as he recommended me btc-e.support while previously recommending someone else btc-e_support. In my skype chat I was asked for passwords which I did not provide.

Only contact btc-e through their ticket service.

My account with some $1000 is suspended too by same reason - i gave advise to avoid that trojaner domain in the chat and the automated ban system catched me too.

Now, i had an open and unanswered ticket and can't access anything.

It is always fun to read it lol.

things like this happen daily.  and most of the time people like this actually did ssomething to get banned and the site didnt just ban them and take there money for more reason. theres always more to the story.
