Print Page - Can anyone help me please? Britcoin/Intersango

Hi people

First of all, I'm a newbie at bitcoins. Yes, I bought mine in 2011 when they were cheap, from Britcoin, the company that we had to use then if wanting to buy bitcoins in the UK. However, I haven't even given bitcoins a thought since then.

I want to log in, almost three years later, and everything's going pearshaped.

First of all, I registered on Britcoin using MyOpenID. According to https://www.myopenid.com/ I have until the end of this month to find a new OpenID supplier because they are closing down. Hence my urgency, why I need to go to Britcoin to connect my account to a new ID of some sort.

So I discover then that Britcoin www.britcoin.co.uk no longer exists. A Google search shows me they now trade as Intersango.

So I go to Intersango. Of course, my MyOpenID is not connected to Intersango so I can't log in.

On https://intersango.com/ "new registrations are closed". OK. But hopefully I should not be considered a new registration, being a former Bitcoin customer.

Result (I thought): I found https://intersango.com/migration/ which tells you how to migrate your Britcoin account to Intersango easily, using MyOpenID.

But none of the links work! Because they point to the non-existing Britcoin URL.

So I go to the Intersango support page https://support.intersango.com/ to raise a support ticket, fill in all my info and after hitting submit nothing happens. Basically, the support page is broken. (EDIT: After about five attempts, I have managed to get a support request registered without the website 404'ing on me, so fingers crossed this will now be dealt with....)

Desperate, I am looking for a phone number to call them on, but nothing.

Anyone know what I can do next? Getting very worried!
