Title: Baikal BK-N240 - CryptoNight + CryptoNight-Lite miner Post by: kahc on May 23, 2018, 01:47:27 PM So it finally happened.
Baikal with their new miner, a little late and less energy efficient than Bitmain's X3. But hey X3 is sold out, so I guess some lost souls will probably buy this device. Adding the CryptoNight-Lite algo doesn't really add anything valuable to it at all. CryptoNight 240kh/s 650W CryptoNight-Lite 480kh/s 630W https://asicminermarket.com/product/baikal-miner-bk-n240/ Title: Re: Baikal BK-N240 - CryptoNight + CryptoNight-Lite miner Post by: Andy16k on May 23, 2018, 06:10:38 PM Paperweight

you will never earn your money back Title: Re: Baikal BK-N240 - CryptoNight + CryptoNight-Lite miner Post by: shaninium on May 24, 2018, 01:10:55 AM Aeon will fork, making these far less special.
Title: Re: Baikal BK-N240 - CryptoNight + CryptoNight-Lite miner Post by: memsta on June 04, 2018, 12:22:26 PM I believe this is actually FPGA and can be firmware updated...not your average ASIC machine...there may still be great value in these units. Especially if a home dev manages to find a hack for v7 or heavy. Cryptocurrency is an uncharted territory and a battle between manufacturers/devs and the altcoin devs is well underway.

Who know about diffenses INNO a8+ and that Baikal? I think inside they are same... May be somebody try to update a8+ with baikal frimware? I want cryptonight-light double speed for my pumkin))

Could they update this to new Cryptonight V7? |
