Title: Re: Need help Post by: bob123 on May 23, 2018, 02:57:26 PM Do we need to use code In different coin... Please explain yourself more clearly. Noone will be able to interpret any question/concern out of your post. Especially explain the 'to use code' part please. Title: Re: Need help Post by: Blue Tyrant on May 24, 2018, 03:58:56 AM Do we need to use code In different coin... As I interpreted the question, you seem to be asking if you want to make your own coin then would you require to use some part of the code Bitcoin uses? The answer would be that it depends on a lot of factors and isn't as simple.
Title: Re: Need help Post by: da7a1oad3r on May 24, 2018, 12:27:15 PM I think OP means if the coin holders should have programming skills to use coins for some activity like buying and selling. Am I right?
If so the answer is — no. Most of traders know a bit less than nothing about programming, they're just following news and foresee the price changes. Title: Re: Need help Post by: BTCW on May 26, 2018, 03:45:49 PM The only crystal-clear thing in this thread is that the OP does need help.

Title: Re: Need help Post by: Tankdestroyer on May 26, 2018, 10:54:23 PM Do we need to use code In different coin... I am having a hard time interpreting your question but I will try to answer it according to my perception. Since you are asking if we need to use code in different coin, do you want to ask if you need to have coding skills when creating your own coin? The answer to your question is yes, may it be a bitcoin forked one or not(even if it is made from eth smart contract or not), everyone who plans to develop their own altcoin would need to have programming skills to succeed in creating one.Title: Re: Need help Post by: robresno on May 27, 2018, 01:33:05 PM Yes you definitely need to know how to code in order to create a new coin. You can start with the bitcoin code base and modify it - as Litecoin did or you can create a new coin using Solidity language for Ethereum which is the easy route.
