The focus of SparksPay will be around solving issues currently faced when using cryptocurrency for eCommerce. As avid supporters of cryptocurrencies, we realize that cryptocurrency adoption for the purchase of goods and services online has been slow. While there are many merchants that are beginning to accept cryptocurrencies as a form of payment, consumers are reluctant to spend their cryptocurrency. The primary reason for this is the lack of trust. Once a cryptocurrency transaction has been made and payment is sent from the buyer to the seller, there is very little protection or recourse for the buyer in the event of a fraudulent transaction, which creates reluctance. Unlike using credit cards, which provide full buyer protection as banks can reverse a fraudulent transaction, there is no such intermediary for cryptocurrencies. In another example, Paypal has been able to succeed at a large scale due to its popular buyer protection service. Buyers on eBay can shop worry-free, knowing that they can file a claim with Paypal, who serves as the mediator in the case of a dispute.

SparksPay is aiming to be the leading cryptocurrency platform in eCommerce. SparksPay will be the first cryptocurrency platform that incorporates a buyer protection service. This process will largely be automated and fully utilize features already available within the SparksPay core code. Not only will holders of Sparks be protected when spending their SPK, the SparksPay platform will be made available to retailers all over the world as a service. Using the service will require subscription payments to be made in the form of SPK, creating utility and demand for the coin. This service will be catered to many industry verticals and will be designed specifically to meet the unique needs of each industry, making it seamless for merchants to integrate our services.

Been following this dev team since they took over, great communication and vision, been mining this for a little while now and have a few masternodes. They have already released multiple wallets updates and masternode updates since taken over and also have a beta version based on Dash’s latest core, somthing the last dev certainly didn’t do or care about, theses guys do care and this comes across in their discord chat room. They are very professional! Love the fact they locked the old devs coins too! Reducing the supply even further!

if its e-commerce currency, where can we see the list of your target partners so a crypto user can use your currency? because if you are aiming to be that currency you need huge number of commercial partners to make this platform useful. and no links yet for your wallets also?

I just started my first MN and runing it via bitwise vps but it always stops - when starting the wallet ist not aktive and goes to pre-enabled and later on "enabled".

Please note you will need to update both your hot wallet (windows etc.) AND Masternode (VPS) wallets. After they are synced, you will need to restart your masternode with "Start alias", since the protocol has changed.

Looking at the current reward reduction rate numbers, we'll reach max supply (21 million) within 4 years. Doing the math and changing the reduction rate by 33% (as opposed to the current 8.33%) per year would give us 50+ years of mining (or staking - if we're going to go to POS eventually). Financially this would make sense as we'll be able to reduce inflation and possibly make the price more stable over the next few years. Please vote if this is something we should do once we switch to v0.13 wallet update. Use :indicator_up:  and :indicator_down:  to cast your vote. Thanks.

The block rewards will be splitted between Masternodes/Guardian nodes, miner and dev fund. Sparks has more to offer than just the regular block rewards.
