It's actually cheaper than I would have expected. I don't see why it's a terrible deal. It could be especially good for people who want to buy bitcoins anonymously. Drunk people on the Granville strip are another story. We can put CoinTap cards in frequented convenience stores, and knowledge of Bitcoin will spread.
