Title: set difficulty for max combined devices Gh's or max per device Post by: bismuth on January 17, 2014, 12:34:20 AM my pool settings are currently set for difficulty 2 running 2x devices, each running at around 2.0 Gh's, since each share seems to be handled by only 1 device at a time -- is this the correct approach? or should I have it set for the combined rate of 4Gh's (difficulty 4)? ???

On average, a difficulty of 2 will be accepted twice as many times as a difficulty of 4, but you get only half as many shares per acceptance, so it is the same.
