Sorry for colorful text but must get attention ;D This is simple update, makes adjust of block reward algorithm per community request, and few minor fixed/updates. At block 60,000 new algorithm goes into effect, so must update before, otherwise you see out of sync message etc. So update now, and all is well. It is by popular demand / community requested change to mining algorithm, so I implemented it. Calculations for block reward will change, and therefore the blockchain will change as new blocks are generated, this is called a "hardfork" because the new blocks are different than if they are written using the old algorithm. So it is important for everyone to get on new wallet so everyone is using new algorithm and nobody get left behind on old chain. |
