Conditions of participation:
- anyone can participate, max 3 submissions per user.
- to participate, simply post the image or a link to the logo image in this thread before Friday, June 15, 2018 23:59 UTC.  

The logo must be according to the following criterions:
- modern, minimalist;
- 512 x 512 pixels with transparent background or vector file;
- the logo must be recognizable, even at small resolution;
- we only need the symbol for the logo, it shouldn't have text in it;
- the logo must be unique and relevant to the Bismuth brand (reminds of a B, b, python, crystal, atom, etc..) do not post any blatant clone of other projects.

Note:
- if we will not have a categorical winner, we will pick 3 logos and submit them to a vote, the winner will be the one who gets the highest number of votes;
- by participating to this contest you agree that the winning logo and all related files will become Bismuth Foundation exclusive property after you will get paid.

Hi, here is my suggestion. I know that some currencies use similar cubic / hexagonal shapes in their logos. I used that shape because figure like this reminds of some crystal structure. I think I also met the rest of mentioned criterions.https://imgur.com/eA8Whvt

is merely a rough concept you can build upon.

About the idea:
The electron represents the messages/connectivity/network paradigm, but also the atomic link with the bismuth element
both spheres are the main BIS chain and the future pos chains.
(top one is smaller).
so bis has 2 meanings, visible here: reminds of a B but also one sphere, and a sphere bis.
Can play with size/space between spheres / colors to either have flat logo on colored background or something in 3D
it's open, moving, things flow freely.

You can build on top of that or derive the concept, and will get full reward if choosen ;)

I like n1 design from dellow

Imo from 5y expiriance in crypto, bismuth needs clean and simple logo...something like dash, monero, zec, litecoin etc.
Too much colors, gradients, and details make it look unprofessional.

minimalist design subtly referencing the b, python & the shimmer of the element bismuth (optical illusion/looking at the inside or outside). instantly recognizable & working at all scales. i was shooting for understatement & room for interpretation.

I made a third concept of bismuth logo. In this case I have redesigned the current logo. This one is more minimalistic and more in favour of modern logo design. I have some more colour variations of this concept but I can post only one. I think current shape of logo is too characteristic and original to be completely changed.

My submission is as follows:

The main feature of Bismuth is the Python language, not the cool looking element. I don't think that we need to work hard to represent said element in the logo over the fact that its built in Python.

The colors could be changed, but I took inspiration from the Python logo colors itself. Likewise, the "B" and "P" that are intertwined are also emblematic of the Python logo without being obvious.

I'm putting these two as options for the community to decide.

I think that this is a smoother, cleaner look for Bismuth. We will need a clean, quality logo especially if we're going to be in the top 50, if not 5 coins in the near future.

Hi everyone!

I created 3 variations of a core theme.

A few thoughts on why I came up with this design:

- I wanted to retain the "bismuth properties" within the "B" part of the logo, with some jagged edges of the B.   Has a bit of a digital way about it too.

- To get the point across that BIS is created entirely using the Python language, I integrated a python snake, in the form of a "P" and also blended it into the "B" part of the logo.  Not only is it pretty cool, but I think it can help having those that don't know about BIS, wonder what the P might be for and look into our crypto further

- Two of the versions have bold colors and one has the gradient similar to Bismuth.  I don't know how well gradients for any logo might do in different formats though.  For example, I noticed that when I reduced the images to the 16x16 size on Coinmarketcap, you can still see the B & P quite clearly, and the gradient one, not so much.

You clearly choose "copy of a logo" (blatant clone of other project..). If you search "alphabet b logo" in youtube, first hit is a tutorial for this logo (with .psd file !!!).

It's hard to believe that a user "Photoshop Geek" - Junaid Maknojiya - juned999 would not include his new work (bismuth logo) in his portfolios:

I could be wrong but i think @Eddesign is lying. And why different nickname if he use on every other platform "Juned999" or "Photoshop Geek".

If i'm wrong i'm truly sorry, but as an investor in Bismuth i really don't want that a great project is represented with a fake logo. And as a contender i want a fair play.

How can we prove that he is lying?
I can't just come in here and say: "you are out of the contest because you are lying", without any proof, if you know what I mean.

I understand your position. In the end it doesn't even matter if its fake, logo is nice! I'm very positive about Bismuth in the future, so keep up your good work.

We appreciate you understand, also don't worry about the logo, because even if the "fake" logo (to be discussed) won the contest, this doesn't mean that we will change it. We need to discuss this matter inside and see what is the best thing to do for the project because as you said we don't want our project to have, not a fake, but a controversial logo.
