First, we would like to announce a 50,000 USDE bounty for a winning design of a new USDE Symbol.  This symbol should be a representation of a USD ($), but with an E embedded in and/or around it.  One idea is to take a $ sign, modify it and add a small 'e', which would represent $ to the square of e; however the amazing artists that we have here at our disposal will definitely be more creative than us.  Please post your suggestions here on this post! 

Second, we have received many requests from the community suggesting that our current logo should be more stylish, modern and easier to plug into different sites and services.  We would like the community's feedback on this topic and for everyone to participate in this POLL.

Please see the following two logos. The first is the original coin image.  The second is the current iteration of the same, except with an embedded image of Benjamin Franklin.  Our own Governor Benjamen is flattered to have his idol on our coin!  Please make your favorite pick and comment below.

I like the (original) LOGO #1 but it need a little something to fill in the white circle gaps inside....

The USDE lettering should be in gold not silver .... that will make the original design PERFECT and look like a million bucks...

I propose we keep #1 because I want to do a project to make real life USDe coins. :D

i would go for a new design. logo contest would be a good idea.

Franklin should stay.

it's easy to implement franklin in it, i just like to know if the symbol i made is okay, i don't like it yet but maybe i'm wrong.

For the symbol, I'd tweak it a little bit... the $ shouldn't look exactly like the dollar... perhaps an E with dollar 'tips' or something?  And remove the flag from behind it.

I voted for #2 but it was really a toss up for me.  I really like the original as well.  I think your idea would look great!

I like this E shape alot. Not sure about the pattern though. How does it look with a simpler pattern?

Anyone have any ideas to toss into this design? I don't mind working with someone with better photoshop skills than mine and splitting the bounty in half.

Yes that is what I was talking about making the USDE gold.  Now it looks clean and rich like a million bucks!  Maybe flipping franklin with the est 2014 so that the head is on top and date bottom....

Can you make it into a vector file so that I can get it laser printed onto an anodized aluminum card??

i make this stuff because i believe in usde and have to mine with my cpu, this is a way i can earn some usde so i keep posting designs untill we're all satisfied  ;D

We need something more professional that doesont look like a drawing.
