now, many people are losing to buy ico tokens, when the tokens go to market, the token price is down, do you guys here much experience like this

If it's a good project, you will never see the token at a lower price than the ICO but now most of all are showing signs of decline as the market is showing signs of going down very fast and we can not guess.  Personally, I only invest in projects that are of the highest interest to the community because of the opportunity to make a profit and stay away from the projects you think scam because ICO is a very risky investment.

it is famous system, when the release happen only the first being aware of the project will buy, once it is relaased marketing will make its effect by itself and the value will grow

Yes, many times it happens, but I think people should take advantage of this moment and buy the tokens when it hit exchanges if the price is lower than the price during ICO. I would recommend that buy those ICO tokens, preferably during pre-sale or private-sale for those projects who are offering a buyback program to take maximum profit from your investment afterward when the token hit on exchanges.

Where do you get this information? So many projects are falling in price but many projects give a good profit. Therefore, everything depends on the project in most really good projects do not fall in price

One of the main factors here for ICOs backed by a bounty program, is that the coin got listed during or after bounty payement distribution so both hunters and investors with high bonus will competite to buy their token as fast as possible which leads directly to loose value. It is better for a coin new listed to be listed in several exchanges before funding contributors. Advisors should know well about some specific strategies to avoid the drop. However, some ICOs paied bounty participants in ether instead of a coin or divide the payement amount quarterly based or tiercly among a good longue period.

Mostly because few people buy a lot of coins durring the private presales(minimum for this presales is to invest at least 10k$)and those people get more coins per $ then normal ico participants,so when coin hit the market they dump it easily because they can cash out with profit will other need to wait/hope for coin to stay above the ico price.Those people then do the same with next ico and next and next....

This is part of the risk when you do make ICO investment which you cant assure that you can make profit anytime when you invested because same as you said tokens would go below ico price when it hits on exchangers which as an investor that would already be a loss for you thats why we should not carelessly select projects which arent good.I did experience to have loss when having these investment because even i do bought token on pre-sale price i do still in negatives.

It is of concern to me and indeed most of the new ico tokens entering the market are priced lower than ico prices. Perhaps it is because of the lack of trust and many are afraid to hold it, so many are immediately selling it and the demand becomes less. I think if the project is good and is believed to grow, it will not happen.

The main reason I think the price of tokens dropped after the exchange was due to the number of people involved in the Bounty campaign. They receive free tokens and when tokens they will sell at extremely cheap prices, thus devaluing the market. has made the penny a serious discount.

In this case, most likely the ico price is going down when it goes to the exchange is because of the bounty hunters. They are the one who dumps hard after it goes in the exchanges and they didn't care about the price. All they aim is the quick buck of their reward token from the bounty.

which you say is true and often occurs when the token is listed on exchange. this happens because there is a dump done by the investor, selling his bonus to restore the initial capital. sometimes this decline is exacerbated by the dump made by the campaign participants after they get the reward and they will sell the token en masse.

because now many people are buying ICO tokens so when the tokens enter the market the price will be cheap and the token price decreases and the crypto decreases, and now the ICO goes down as many people prefer to invest in promising and value-added projects highest,

There may be multiple reasons to it, few of them could be people buying during private sales, if there tokens are not locked, they already get 50-100% bonus, hence if they sell on listing they straight away 50-100% profit on there investments.
Others is from bounty hunters, a lot many bounty hunters do bounties and sell on listing, they dont want to keep there tokens trade into BTC or ETH as early as they hit the market.

In such cases, the sells are bigger then buys and hence they dump down.

Yeah but not all project I joined are like that.There are some coins also go up right after they are officaily listed in cmc and famous exchanges just like IOST when it was listed in Binance, its price is 5x right away.And Im glad I participated on its bounty campaign.  :)

I think one of the reasons why low ico token prices are due to the bounty hunters sell hasty rewards after each campaign. Or because the new project started the community involved little, they have not seen all its value ... If the project is good then its value will increase.

Yes, of course I've ever had. Where the token I get from the bounty and then listing on the market, and the price is very low. even very not worth it to sell the time. then I decide to hodl as savings. I think the current price listings on the market could be low because he could be the new coins, and not necessarily a lot of devotees. So he started from a low price.

the bounty seems not submitted as a major influence. the allocation for the bounty just only a few percents and it's not too influential to the existing values. Yes, most of the ICO is experiencing it now, its because, when the ICO you invest hit on the exchange, and maybe timing for a bearish price, it has a high probability that the token price will surely go bearish. And also, when an ICO host a huge allocation of bounty funds. When this ICO hit on the market, surely the price will drop, due to many bounty hunters dump their tokens for a smaller price for just a quick buck.

it happens a lot. when the tokens are sold in the market, the price is cheaper. because most of the bounty hunter directly to sell their coins so that the price becomes cheap. but if we follow a good project then the price of the token in the market will be good too. all that can also be influenced by a luck factor.

Sounds like you must be wary of ICOs giving out huge bounty's/discounts.

its depended by project f project is upgraded then coin price is not reducing if project is not then price will down and when bounty coins well sell then also price will come down

Under my observation heres the factor i could see.
1. Discount - some ICO offer so much discount. For example, 1 token = 1USD. But in a discounted price. It will be for example, 3 token = 1USD. By this, it losts its value. An investor could actually sell it for 3Token = 1.5USD. Far from its original price of 1USD/Token.

2. Allocated Supplies for Bounty - most of the time, some bounty hunters forget that dumping could drag the tokens value down. And this would cost a lot of money to investors.
3. Distribution - ive seen some projects. Distribution for investors are ahead from the distribution of hunters. Why? Think of the market where sellers, sells their goods for which they also bought compared to not.
4. Exchanges - this means a lot. The Volume. Bigger exchange, bigger volume. With bigger volume and more buyers, could effect how a token would be sold. Think of all the lowest sell orders are bought immediately. This could dictate the following orders to be higher.

Indeed, many tokens, when they appear on exchanges, have a lower price.
That's because people don't like the token, they just want to speculate.

I believe there are some bounty hunters who really do not always care about the future of the project or how much it was as ICO price and are so ready to drop at the slightest chance they get once it is listed on the exchange. I believe investors that bought at ICO price would not actually be selling at loss, so the only real sense we can make out of it of those who are selling are actually those that I have mentioned. Personally, I always look out for it and simply see it most of the time as a promo price anyway.

There are several possibilities that make the token price down
1. wrong marketing strategy (too much bonus when the initial sale and private sale)
2. give too much gift (giveaway or airdrop excessive)
both of which can make the price fall below the ICO price, as most people will sell the proceeds of the gift or bonus purchase to reduce the loss rate

When the tokens come to the market they worth zero money. Even if you've paid a lot for each one token, they worth zero. It depends on the followers and the rest of the investors, how much money they want to spend in order to buy more.

I've experienced it, when token tokens tokens are very high early, but when we have got the token suddenly dropped drastically, we can't do anything after that, we just wait and monitor the price of tokens in the market

People will give you same answer, many of them already sell the coin and that's why the price become cheap. That situation is not problem because so many people prepare their fund to buy the coin for speculation. Every situation bring us opportunity to make money we only need to see carefully.

Big investors and strategic partners grab tokens at huge discounts during presales and then dump them. Even if the ICO gets listed on exchanges at bellow-ICO prices, these presale investors still have room to sell at a profit.

The FUD are all over and this weak hands are gonna sell. It will fall when there is no good exchanges right after the ICO because low volume. Also when the bounty payment will be release, for sure, there will be some dump that will happen.

Yes, I've experienced this a lot. There are several possibilities that make this happened. First, bounty hunter immediately dumping the tokens after the first listing in exchanges. Not only, bounty participant, but I believe some investor who only wants quick profit also do the same. Second, no update or progress from the team project about the products.

This can happen when the overall market trend is downwards, and it can also happen if a project offers big bonuses at ICO - for example if they offer 50% extra tokens for early buyers, then those people can sell at an instant profit once the coin becomes tradeable. I don't really understand why we see such huge bonuses as it can be very counterproductive for a project to do this.

I often experience it, every first time the tokens are in the axchanger, the price is always low, it's because a lot of people are directly selling their tokens and only a few people buy these tokens. but slowly the token price will go up, just wait for it will reach the current price of ICO.

i did not face loss in investment in ICO because when i buy token in ico i wait tell when it list in market and then the price are instantly increase after some months then i sell it on biggest profit.

Actually, you are not losing money if you are still holding that coin/token you purchased unless you sold them at a lower price or did not even sell them at all. Most ICO that I've seen have lower price when they were listed on exchanges. I have no issue regarding this one because this is a good thing because if the price is more than the ICO price then many investors will just sell immediately, especially those who have weak hands.

This is why if the project isn't really interesting and doesn't have a support on the real use of that token then it will be dump for sure.

Calculate the tokens that were given to airdrops, bounty hunters, owners and the rest that will be given to the exchange as listing fee(otherwise it's paid with bitcoin). This is why I don't really invest to ICO's as there's a tendency that it will plummet so quick.

Often it happens because of dump created with the bounty hunters, or so. They would just sell all their bounty tokens right away

There are two main reasons for dump, inpatient investor who has lost confidence in the project or he is in need of fast money, secondly if the project has given away huge amount of tokens in bonuses, discounts, airdrops and bounties then there is high chance that the price will dump as soon as it lists on exchanges.

Mostly, the price goes down because of some DUMPERS. Since they got the token free, they seem to get free money out of the free token thereby selling at a very cheap price, hence, the price start falling like a mango tree...

you must hold your coin until the price returns to normal, the price is cheap because there is a huge sale, resulting in the occurrence of dumps and price reductions

I think So many projects are falling in price but many projects give a good profit.
Therefore, it all depends on the project on most of the really good projects.
many soon sell it and the demand diminishes. I think if the project is good and it is believed to grow, it will not happen.

I think it is because of the sudden burst of tokens on sale from the bounty campaigns, bounty hunters tend to sell their token at much lower price compared to the original ICO price of the market so that they could easily sell as soon as possible their tokens.

I attribute this to the general bearish nature of the current market situation which has been on for the better part of 2018. Nowadays it makes sense to buy when the project hits exchanges or gets listed because most of this project now sell below ico prices. I think team behind these projects also need to engage in aggressive marketing and promotion to drive high the price of these projects.

Because many investors are eager to sell their ICO tokens for profit, some of it is because ICO's value is not as high as it was expected! Its demand is also not expected so much!

People are tend to sell tokens at a very small profit.
Because of that, it is easy to be dumped under ICO price.

Because developers want to buy Tokens from investors at low prices, to eliminate those investors who do not intend to hold. They will start pushing for prices after identifying and eliminating unbelievers in their projects.
