Thanks, i dont plan to, the amount of boats will increase from next round from 10 to 12. and the prize per boat from 0.6 btc to 0.75

I havnt tested it enough to get the balance just right.

also... its not 0.025* 1088 minus the prizes.. its actually alot less than that

1088 / 3(boat units) = ~362 * 0.025 = 9btc it will cost in clicks to play a round without the discounts. with 10 boats at 0.6btc each, the payout is 6btc for every 9btc, not including the chest.

Also turns out that player strategy is putting me into the red  ;D

might have to lower the prizes / boats or increase the cost per click

if you don't have icon software yet, i can recommend 'IcoFX' which is freeware.

ah i could do i suppose. Havn't put any thought towards those little bits at the moment. still ironing out the creases. the sites been non stop for the last couple of hours so hasn't given me much time to make changes yet!

well, that was a really fun way to blow ~$7 :D

- deposited 1.13 and bought 50 clicks.
- used up most of them but sunk a ship for 0.6
- bought 24 more clicks and sunk a second ship for 0.6
- bought 24 more clicks but used them all up

good job on the site, my main suggestion would be try to see if you can use ajax somehow... because the page reloads can be quite distracting with so many gifs.

yeah ajax will be coming next. thanks for playing, its still in a sort of testing phase, found some bugs that need fixing but cant do nout untill it gets quieter! some errors people are getting is because my poor little wamp server is getting overloaded, each page is 1000+ querys! hence the 0.2 - 0.5 second loading times.

I'm really not making much profit at all, as soon as that chest goes im back down to 0.

Something happened on the reset grid script... looks like there was too many querys to the server at the time.

You should show the treasure chest's location after all ten ships have been sunk. And add a short delay after the tenth ship is sunk; I never get to see its location.

that will be something i will add in near future, thanks..

I will also hash the location of the jackpot location, then give it out afterwards for it to be verified. i would of thought it would of been found by now.

yeah and some kind of refresh button so you don't need to remove ?c=xxx from the url and hit enter.

how long do you find you can keep playing from buying back clicks with the winnings?

well, i've been playing heaps... i've deposited twice 1.13 and since i got so many ships recently i was able to withdraw 2.26 so now i'm playing for free with about 100 clicks available to play with.

having said that, some error occurred which i've just pm'd you about.

What does the above mean?

it basically means the php code couldn't connect to the bitcoin daemon.

so it spat out the above error which shows, among other things, joeyjoe's JSON username/password.

that password is what NothinG was subtly making fun of above.

I saw that but I was just worried it had something to do with the jackpot code. A few times I click on the same square to no effect and I thought I had just hit the jackpot.

nah each click you do, it querys the daemon to update your account, i really should do it another way and not leave it to the users to execute the script. Im changing this now so it will be updated every 20 seconds by the server. no more error.

the password for the daemon is useless as you wouldnt be able to connect to it anyway. for some reason its not supressing errors like it should.

the jackpot just hasnt been clicked on. i do check the cells and it is generated correctly each time. just people click to the side of it most times.


If it grows much bigger, i will increase the number of chests on the board until it is won
