Title: Anything better than Primecoin?

I'm seeing really pitiable results mining XPM with my Xeon CPU servers. Are you seeing better results with any other coin?

Meh, I dont think its a waste of time but Primecoin is mostly mined by botnets and giant farms of cloud CPU cores (amazon, digital ocean etc).

Also, people may have figured out how to GPU mine Primecoin already, but not released the code to do so. These two factors affect difficulty enough so as to greatly inhibit hobby mining.

Look at it as a learning process and dont consider profits. Primecoin has a great developer and a good reputation, and I think its a coin with a future.

However, it is a better time to buy XPM than to mine it.

I just mine Datacoins with my humble i930 and I just hope their price will get higher some time in the future.  ;D
