I can't quite see a traditional entrepreneur having stepped in to help a project like OpenBSD. Whether it's valuable long term, who knows, but perhaps Apple Computers might be quietly pleased; it will ensure they will continue to have a variety of BSD codebases to pilfer from, as they're said to have done in the past :D
