Post by: Caiapfas on January 21, 2014, 03:46:21 AM
I was full member, now I'm back to newbie?

Why did that happen?

sweet thanks. When will my activity go up for all the usage I have been doing?

Is these a dedicated 2 week period or is it random for everybody?

Am I the only one who sees his activity at 42 and still a Newbie? The new junior member tier starts at 30...

I see your activity at 210 ;D but anyway, yes. I've got activity bumped to 42, and still have newbie status (degraded from "member", meh...).

I think you misunderstood his post. Btcton is talking about OP.
OP has 42 activity and is a Newbie.
Jr. Member starts at 30. But Newbie tag isn't related to activity.

Additionally, membergroup limits are changed:
GroupRequirement
Brand New0 posts
Newbie(none)
Jr. Memberactivity: 30
Memberactivity: 60
Full Memberactivity: 120
Sr. Memberactivity: 240
Hero Memberactivity: 480

Lol wth guys xD, I did clearly say "his." But seriously, why is he a newbie if he has 42 activity?

Lol, I really don't know why, maybe I did read "this" instead of "his"  ::)

But seriously, why is he a newbie if he has 42 activity?
I wrote this in another post, but I can't say I'm pretty sure:

The "class" change seems to be executed some hours (maybe a day) later.
This is, if I well remember, what I noticed.

ya my activity is 42 now when I posted this it was like 20 or something.

Does sending PM's and everything you do build activity or just posting/reading?

Just posting I believe. You get a max activity of 14 per two-week period.

I've just recently qualified as a Member after the new period started. The whole activity thing was a mystery before I actually read how it was calculated.

thanks guys

Try to get to member status (60 activity) and it'll probably get fixed.

There's apparently a bug preventing Newbies from being promoted. I'll look into it when I have time. I don't think that there's any major disadvantage to being a Newbie now.

Edit: Fixed.
