Is this a joke? If you googled Tether, you would have gotten answer in two minutes. 1 Tether [USDT] is worth $1 by definition and doesn't change it's value so how can that be a good investment??

Tether is not a investment coin , it is just used to provide stable rate to investors for their coins if they want to sell . so that in case if they want fiat they can sell in USDT and later can buy in dip , bcoz USDT is backed by USD (atleast their team claim so) , so price of USDT will always remain 1 american dollar .

its good feature is you can transfer it to any other exchange supporting USDT .

so never hold an USDT if you expecting profit . also never buy USDT above 1.01 dollar and never sell it below 0.99 dollar . taking 1% difference as sometimes in sudden dip or pump btc price differs in USDT in compare to USD pair .

I wouldn't take those high bonus ICO's seriously as there's a big chance it can be a scam. Join those ICO's that are too good to be true in profit.

No. It is a stable coin, what traders do is they are converting their coins to USDT to beat the bear and later on sell it so they can go back to trading again with their preferred coins.

Tether is not to be good investment at all. If you want to halt the fund in same value in the time you are going vocation and etc. That time you change any alts to tether and enjoy the trip.

To be honest, that title made me chuckle  ;D. Tether was created as a replacement for USD and is supposed to cost 1UDST=1USD. It's a tool, not an asset.

Do you even know what investment is? It is something which will give you profit in longer period, investing in tether won't bring you any kind of profit.
You will be stuck with you initial investment and you won't earn anything except what you already have.

I would not invest in Tether. He can do as much as he likes, which is not good. There are many negative rumors.

He might expect that this is similar on most coins in the market as of now and having $1 is affordable and he can buy lots of it and wait for a pump. If you do try to look on the chart you would see on your very own eyes on its movement and you would tell yourself that you are talking non-sense and do post this kind of topic.  8)

If there is available option on trading site. For sometime you can use the Tether to hold the fund in the value. Then you will be able to change the coins when there is dump in the potential coin mate.

The only rational and quite weird at the same time 'investment' in Tether I can imagine is this:
- you have an initial capital of 1 BTC (you took a loan in BTC and you have to give 1 BTC back in a month plus pay additional 0,1 BTC fee)
- at the beginning of the month market is falling, you invest your 1 BTC in Tether and get 10,000 USDT
- at the end of the month market is still falling (1 BTC = 8,000 USDT) and you sell your 10,000 USDT 'investment' for BTC and get 1,25 BTC
- you pay your 1 BTC debt + 0,1 BTC fee
- you get 1,25 BTC - 1 BTC - 0,1 BTC = 0,15 BTC profit, so your Tether 'investment' was good

tether should not seen as an investment because the value is fixed (like fiat money) to a certain amount: 1 usd.
you can just save your cash money and not use tether. as investment there are a lot of other altcoins that you can follow. for sure value of tether will not growth :) perhaps could face trouble due the nature itself of the token.
