From what I understand, there can only be 100,000,000,000 ever mined. As of tonight, almost 32% of this amount is in the hands of many lucky shibes.

Post by: phils on January 21, 2014, 07:37:00 AM As far as I know, as we continue to mine more blocks, eventually the doge these blocks yield will be halved which makes the cap so much harder to hit. I personally don't know how long it'll take to reach the cap, but the time it takes will increase exponentially with respect to difficulty and block reward.
