As for 5k$ prices, it's inevitable. I'm not even anxious about when it happens because I would use the profit from such increase during the Summer 2014 and not earlier. Not to mention that Mars comes before Summer. Why? Because not only does the price conquer new orders of magnitudes periodically but the frequency of these surges is also increasing in time. It'll be a currency crisis in a medium sized country that will fuel it, and that is something impossible to predict with much accuracy. Argentina looks fixed to blow up, but it's looked that way for a year.
