Title: Want to start mining.. Post by: Juhroen on January 21, 2014, 04:29:11 PM Hello,
I wanna start mining, but first i want to try it with my current laptop to see how it works instead of buying new PC. So i'm having a HP (64bit) AMD Athlon II P320 Dual-Core Processor 2.10 GHz with a ATI Mobility Radeon HD4250. (Yes i know i cant make any profit with this, but its just to test) Am i able to do any mining with this laptop? I already downloaded GUIminer and got some kind of "worker". Is this the good software or do i need something else..? And how much MHash can i produce with it using GPU and/or CPU..? Can someone help me out with this.. Title: Re: Want to start mining.. I would try one of the many flavors of USB miners that are out there. (I will refrain from telling you its not worth it.) This would give you a chance to mine and figure out if BTC is for you. Good option to try BTC! thnx Title: Re: Want to start mining.. Post by: cp1 on January 22, 2014, 05:36:41 PM Yeah you should be able to get something like a Bitfury for ~ $100 and then you can get the full experience without wrecking your laptop.
Title: Re: Want to start mining.. Post by: AvalonMiner on January 27, 2014, 12:35:15 AM The easiest way for you to mine is cloud mining. They run their own hardware for you but you pay for it. Check out my description to see how :)

You simply register > pay for your hashing power > watch your BTC flowing. Title: Re: Want to start mining.. My bad for the "Nah" part. :P Title: Re: Want to start mining.. Post by: cp1 on January 29, 2014, 05:09:50 PM Even easier: Tell me what hash rate you want and I'll quote you a price. After say 30 days I'll tell you how much you overpaid by and just send that amount to me. No signups and only one transaction required.
