Title: CRYPTSY IS THE BEST!!!!! Post by: placebo on January 21, 2014, 10:23:00 PM A lot of people have been complaining about cryptsy, but for example i had a problem with my balance, something was not up to date. I've contacted the owner and AFTER 30 SECONDS the problem was fixed!!!! So i would say before posting messages like cryptsy is stealing my money or any crap like this, please first contact cryptsy directly and then you will see that he is working hard for us!!!!! When you compare to other exchanges that were released lately then i'm sure that i can say that cryptsy is the best. A lot of coins that you can choice to trade, sometimes slow, yes, but sometimes my laptop is also very slow and do i go and complain to Bill Gates all the time? No, i don't.

They have their technical difficulties, but of any exchange, theirs seems decades ahead of the rest. And when there have been problems, they are usually resolved fairly quickly.
Also, when dealing with cryptocurrency anything, these aren't huge international companies we are dealing with, and I highly doubt Cryptsy has been making millions in revenue off their site. But lets look at other exchanges... coinmarket.io is more stopped then trading, people are losing their coins. I know a few KDC traders that lost all their coins there. Just disappeared.... a few other markets were just scam. People want to put their money somewhere safe. Yes sometimes it is slow, i agree, but when you trade on the real stockmarket via a broker then you also need to wait 15 -20 sec before your order hit the market so....You can see whatever you want but cryptsy is very safe and as i said for me support is very good, and yes, here again sometimes you can have 10 support calls and it can take some time before everything is fixed, but is that not a little normal? Sometimes in the IT sector you need to give a workaround, i'm working in the IT sector and when something doesn't work then we try to give the users a workaround till we fixed it. I believe that above problem is fixed. At least i didn't had it for a month The point is: 1. Our coins(money) is safe. 2. Give a good supply of coins, you can find all different type of coins, some will say shit coins, other people believe they are great coins. 3. A lot of other exchanges are afraid to put so many coin on their exchange because of slow performance. Cryptsy at least TRY and yes, sometimes it is not fast, but they try, btc-e give only investors 10 coins, come on, 10 coins when there are 150 coins or more available... Thanks! :) We get SMS issues with various countries at various times we think it is the providers for some reason they just delay them. The issue was resolved within the hour and since then the site has gotten consistently fast and without issues for me.

Congrats on the users and i am sure they are real and authentic but i am for sure very fustrated of how a session trade can go so far i have lost bitcoin 2-3 times and once biggest was -0.11BTC that i had too cover because of cryptsy lag and unable too access problem due too huge number of requests per seconds . But i have too pay for that ?
Example : 1. Put an order for Coin A with BTC the orders it says it's ok ..in few seconds a notification appear that the order was canceled without doing any action . 2. I told too my self ehh small problems , i made the trade again i wait and it says success i was really happy that it has succes . 3. Before preparing withdrawal my amount of Coins A i woke up with a double amount and a -0.11 BTC . 4. I run fast too audit button and i wait and i wait meanwhile i was trying too resell it but the system was failing to take any orders big lag . 5. It passed good hours until first audit came and no change i was , seriously ? Hmmm ok i reuquest another one when the button was available , and waited and waited and nothing meanwhile i notice that the coin dropped dramatically with 25% and i can't do nothing now . 6 . Second audit passed no changed it was my last hope that it was going to come back and at the rate that the incident it was happened . 7. I paid from my own pocket and the Coin A dropped 80% in few days of waiting and fighting with your platform . 8. I put a support ticket and i got a weird answer from BitJohn like it's not their problem is mine cause i spent more then i had . Serious ? I SPENT ? I ? Myself or the platform ? ...Sure whatever . Finally i paid from my own pocket . Tonight same happened with other coin the loss was very small 0.0004 but still it is a back and forth trade too not stay on negative again and happend another drop episode ..... . P.S For that ticket answer i waited 3 days . I dono who says hour must be very lucky he should go mine solo , that how lucky he is . It is a very very nice platform , amazing coins up there a lot of trading can go GOOD . But now it goes bad and i for example my personal experience wasn't good . I really hope you guys going too make it better and for real smoother because it isn't a day without a lag period or a problem so we all need a stable and secure platform too trade . Fancy design and large variety of coins too choose from i don't think will go for long time . As well if you want too get a nice response and not rude , be respectful too cause we aren't sheeps or brain stupid . So at the moment yes Cryptsy is the best from the worst , because at this hour aren't safe , stable exchanges at all . Only scarced with few shady coins , high fees and even slower support if you can belive that . So at the moment no REAL competition . But when they come i hope you will be prepared guys . Congrats on the users and i am sure they are real and authentic but i am for sure very fustrated of how a session trade can go so far i have lost bitcoin 2-3 times and once biggest was -0.11BTC that i had too cover because of cryptsy lag and unable too access problem due too huge number of requests per seconds . But i have too pay for that ? Example : 1. Put an order for Coin A with BTC the orders it says it's ok ..in few seconds a notification appear that the order was canceled without doing any action . 2. I told too my self ehh small problems , i made the trade again i wait and it says success i was really happy that it has succes . 3. Before preparing withdrawal my amount of Coins A i woke up with a double amount and a -0.11 BTC . 4. I run fast too audit button and i wait and i wait meanwhile i was trying too resell it but the system was failing to take any orders big lag . 5. It passed good hours until first audit came and no change i was , seriously ? Hmmm ok i reuquest another one when the button was available , and waited and waited and nothing meanwhile i notice that the coin dropped dramatically with 25% and i can't do nothing now . 6 . Second audit passed no changed it was my last hope that it was going to come back and at the rate that the incident it was happened . 7. I paid from my own pocket and the Coin A dropped 80% in few days of waiting and fighting with your platform . 8. I put a support ticket and i got a weird answer from BitJohn like it's not their problem is mine cause i spent more then i had . Serious ? I SPENT ? I ? Myself or the platform ? ...Sure whatever . Finally i paid from my own pocket . Tonight same happened with other coin the loss was very small 0.0004 but still it is a back and forth trade too not stay on negative again and happend another drop episode ..... . P.S For that ticket answer i waited 3 days . I dono who says hour must be very lucky he should go mine solo , that how lucky he is . It is a very very nice platform , amazing coins up there a lot of trading can go GOOD . But now it goes bad and i for example my personal experience wasn't good . I really hope you guys going too make it better and for real smoother because it isn't a day without a lag period or a problem so we all need a stable and secure platform too trade . Fancy design and large variety of coins too choose from i don't think will go for long time . As well if you want too get a nice response and not rude , be respectful too cause we aren't sheeps or brain stupid . So at the moment yes Cryptsy is the best from the worst , because at this hour aren't safe , stable exchanges at all . Only scarced with few shady coins , high fees and even slower support if you can belive that . So at the moment no REAL competition . But when they come i hope you will be prepared guys . Same shit happened to me about a month ago, but I only pressed the order button once, and all of a sudden I went into negative BTC balance, it took me a few days to come up with the btc required to put my account into the black so I could get my coins out. it happened to a lot of people, they were screaming blue murder on cryptsy but all the posts were deleted, no apology given and the whole issue was just ignored. on the brighter side I ended up with double the amount of Namecoin during that fiasco once my account was unlocked and took them somewhere else and made 8 time the BTC that was locked up. and yes I did open a support ticket and it was ignored. Yet we let you sell them. I would have to know more specifics but it does happen. Usually you need to contact the pool that sent the original tx and ask if they reappeared in the wallet or check your wallet and see if they are back.

Also, it would be nice to see a list with all account wallet addresses in there. When it's actual issues with Double Orders and i lost in total with Cryptsy over 0.03 BTC with price changes with slow movment . But those double orders are a simply theft !!! In a regulated market it's called simply theft and you are taking risk for the CLIENT that it isn't willing to make . You are aware of that ? I was under the impression you sent me the link to your local wallet in the explorer. This is my mistake. Im not familiar with the DVC clients but there is a way to get a txid which is the best way to look up a transaction. Some coins change values by 10-15 satoshi and i cant do nothing because cryptsy still doing some reload or something. it's very hard to trade when you don't have fast site.

So we need a txid which proves via an explorer that coins were sent its also the only way to look up specifically what transaction we are talking about. I can also fully relate to the experiences these other posters have had, having encountered the majority of these bugs myself, and also the frustration of not being able to get a prompt response from the site staff. I have 10k+ trades on cryptsy, and most of them go through without issue, but when the problems happen, they are compounded by inadequate support. 24/7 markets need 24/7 staff, even if it's just a guy in IRC or on the forums acknowledging the issue. I had a stuck order sorted in minutes yesterday after BitJohn responded to my post, which is how it should be, not 12+ hours like my latest problem (which is exactly the same issue). Those Qt Wallets stall, crash, block-chains sometimes fail and must be re-downloaded. All kinds of issues with those wallets still in Beta. Developers really need to get things much better sorted out there. Far too long almost every Crypto has depended on Bitcoin's developers and their not picking up the ball enough so far. Yep, the Achilles heel appears to be stalled wallets, broken wallets, crashing wallets, OVER LOADED, Over tasked wallets. Things Developers must sort through and put to task. And not merely the Bitcoin Developers. It shouldn't mostly be just them. Instead a task force of sorts maybe. I have mostly great luck with Cryptsy. Sure the occasional glitch. But their the only ones I trust. And the only one's serving almost all viable Crypto's. We all owe a great deal to Cryptsy for taking on such a huge, overwhelming task. Hurray for Cryptsy. Their number 1. You will notice why when you fill it out. With the extra fields to aid presorting. That surely helps prioritize the most important ones, such as deposit and trading issues. Crypsty is the Best.
