Need suggestions about ethereum wallet. What do you think is the best wallet for ETH ?

Best wallet for ETH if youre new then go for online wallet, use MyEtherWallet it is trusted in the community and used by many. But if you want to invest big and secure it for a long term go get hardware wallet like ledger since it has more security than online wallet.

Myetherwallet (MEW) I think? Although some do say that it's not safe, but what can you do? It's free and easy to use. But if have the money and resources, do get a hardware wallet. Maybe Ledger Nano S or TREZOR? try to search on it, it's really interesting plus it's significantly safe compared to MEW.

I think the best online wallet for storing ETH is myetherwallet, because everyone to save ETH, they always use Myetherwallet, but it all depends on your own to save it and I only recommend you to use Myetherwallet wallet.

I would suggest you just simply use MyEtherWallet. I think it is the best crypto wallet as of now. But you still have to make sure that you get your funds stolen so there are suggestions there that will make your wallet safer such as MetaMask and buying ledger.

mist metamask or meytherwallet you can choose one of them both secured just remember  not share your private key to any one even your close friend.

MyEtherWallet is usable, but I prefer MetaMask. Its actually a plugin, easy-to-use, and I really like the design and usability of it. Therefore this is my take, go MetaMask!

I suggest you MyEtherWallet for soft wallet. And Ledger Nano S for hardwallet.

You must direct purchase a hardware wallet + Myetherwallet = best security to protect your cryptocurrency, if you don't want to spend money, then Myetherwallet + metamask, but remember it's just an online wallet, so don't let everyone know that your private key/password, anyway, try to check hardware wallet, I think it's worth to own

The most used ETHs are most commonly used by ICOs. It's safe with your money and the price of ETH is what I find attractive. until now.!

Initially i was using myetherwallet until the recent dns hack on the network, I started using metamask then i later discover i can use both myetherwallet and metamask together so then i have been using myetherwallet and metamask together for all transactions.  

I couldn't suggest you to use the hardware wallet because it will cost you a lot as a newbie but i can say you can try to run MEW locally, or try to combined your MEW account through use metamask as the second layer protection for your mew wallet and that's the best free wallet right now or try to download EIDO apps.

I had used Metamask but whenever I add tokens, I need to readd all the tokens after my computer had restarted and it is really quite irritating.

But Metamask is a good way protect you against entering private key

At the moment I'm using MyEtherWallet. It’s comfortable for me and I like it. I'm using private key only for transfers. If I want to check my balance I'm using Ethplorer or Etherscan. Also don't forget to use MetaMask for your coins safety.

I think that myetherwallet is one of the best wallets for ethereum, I have used it for a long time and I didn't have any problem with it, In addition, I also used block chain wallet, which it accepts ETH, I think that it's also good. most of people here recommend you to use myetherwallet, same as me  ;) if you didn't want to buy a hardware wallet
but, remember to write and save your private keys in the safest place mate
and do not log in to any phishing link

I use My Ether Wallet + Metamask. Be careful though especially if you are doing a lot of airdrops, make sure YOU DON"T GIVE YOUR PRIVATE KEY AWAY!

If you are not making use of a hardware wallet like Ledger Nano, the safest way is to use MetaMask, a google chrome extension which you won't have to use your private key to do transaction via MEW anymore, but easily connect with Metamask, or you can make use of a desktop wallet like Exodus, since you will have full access to your private key as well.

My suggestion would be to use MEW in combination with some hardware wallet like TREZOR or Ledger Nano S if you can afford them. Other alternatives would be Exodus, Mist, MetaMask (browser addon), Coinbase (exchange wallet). Then there are some others, find like a "top list" and see their pros and cons. That would help.

Ideally the top wallet that comes to mind is myetherwallet, but considering the hack issue some weeks ago I have some reservations you can always use mycrypto or hardware wallets.

I am using myetherwallet right now. Its easy to use I think. But recently there hijack on their DNS and thats make me more carefull before entering myetherwallet website. I think the most important thing is always keep our private key safe and not share it to anybody

for me the the best and easiest erc20 wallet is MEW myetherwallet. but there are plenty times now hackers attacks MEW. just take extra cautioun on opening your wallet, if you just want to check your balance just open it in etherscan.io so that you will not need to open your MEW with your password or private key, you will just scan your eth address. and know your balance rightaway.

MyEtherWallet(MEW) is one of the best options to store your altcoins and tokens, but it is not the best way to secure your funds after the recent hack attack against it. Best option here is hardware wallets like Trezor and paper wallets which are way more secure in this aspect. Desktop(Offline) wallets are also a great option to secure your funds. MEW is still a great wallet, but is simply not the most secure wallet in this aspect.

if for temporary storage myetherwallet is nice to serve as one of storage, but if for long term save I suggest using an offline wallet like nano ledger or trezzor this is useful in addition to storage also for the security of your assets.

As a newbie, I think MyEtherWallet would be better for you. And after having some knowledge in online wallet, you can go for Trezor or ledger Nano.

Ledgers are probably the best, but no wallet is perfect as all are in some way subject to theft, failure or, paper wallets, to get unreadable. Just use a combination.

For me I will suggest using myetherwallet to get your eth address, this gives you access to your json file and private key. So anytime you want to access your wallet, you can use the json file or your private key. But with the recent dns attack on myetherwallet, I will suggest using myetherwallet to open your account then when you want to make transaction, you can use metamask.

You can't go wrong with metamask, a simple chrome extension and will save you from a lot of phising link. You can access your erc20 token aswell using it so i think it's the best one, a lot of people will suggest myetherwallet but for your information, there's already a lot of cases where people lose their money from mew phising site, so it's better to avoid them if you are not a careful person.
