Post by: arcoin on January 22, 2014, 02:33:12 PM

ARC -- you are worth having!
The first cryptocurrency with risk management and insurance in the world.

I am happy to announce that ARC has been offically released in January 15, 2014.
Thank you for your support and suggestions in our prerelease thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=382832.0

    ARC Features:

  • POS+POW
Compound interest is 2% per 30 days holding ARC 1 year later - The annual interest is about 26.8%!
(The divident will be reduced to 50% per 10 years.)
  • CPU+GPU, more suitable for CPU mining
Scrypt-jane combined with the other 6 hashing algorithms, including blake, bmw, groestl, jh, keccak, skein - which balanced their computational efficiency.
  • Total only 9 million, very limited
Average 1 block per 60 seconds, including 5 ARCs.

We released the first official announcement on our official website and spreaded it in OICQ discussion groups.
We think that it is necessary to reward the participator in beta stage. So the early mining efficiency is relatively high.
If anyone have the beta ARC, please send your beta wallet file to our email box - support@agilereservecoin.com (Or PM me). We will give the reward according to it.
In addition, the file name is a automatic serial number named by the software, not affecting the normal usage. We will upload the wallet to the public SkyDrive as soon as possible for easy download.

This coin is all wrong.
Source dont make working client. I doup it's even same than compiled client.
Coin is possible mining with GPU miner, but there is no GPU miner at all.
Coin is so premined and instamined.
Good luck with your scam. (And I dont easy say any coin scam)
This is pure scam coin. The end.

edit. Hope you delete your scamcoin thread and make even little more fair coin.

We must  announce here more later so that we have enough ARC (291377 ARCs in total) to reward the beta version ARC holder.

the pool seems to suggest pointing cgminer at it like standard scrypt mining? how can this work like that?

There are users have developed the mine pool by this source code and the pool is working in normal. You need to add these 6 algorithms - Blake, BMW, groestl, JH, keccak, skein - to the makefile, which can help you compiled successfully.
GPU and CPU mining tools are here (http://arc.botpool.net/index.php?page=gettingstarted).
Before announcing here we must premine enough blocks to reward the beta version ARC holder. The time and work they paid has given us a lot of help. About the ARC beta announcement is here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=382832.0).

rd-sse2.exe -a scrypt-jane -o stratum+tcp://wk7.botpool.net:7099 -u user.1 -p x

Like this?
It doesn't work.

There are modifications in both cgminer and mine pool.

And check your account and password carefully.

OK, it works now, thank you.

But is is really a CPU mining coin? I only got 25kh with my E3 1230 V2.

What is the hashrate of ATI7850?

Hmmm.
GPUminer doesn't work for me.
CPUminer does.

I'll farm a bit...concerned about that lowkey ANN...premine. Week "late" announcement of release...

Both the CPU and GPU hashrate are relatively low because of the introduction of the Nfactor.

Please understand that we have to do this...otherwise we would not have enough ARC to reward beta ARC holder. Thank you very much.
