Sure, I don't mind giving you the lead. I have no means to start it since I don't have a couple of thousand of dollars to start up the business, but you might.
In order to establish a bank you need money.
You need proof that you know how to handle money, for that you need an investments portfolio.
Spend a couple of thousands of dollars investing in successful start-ups, do successful Forex trading or play at the stocks market.
After you make some name and have history behind you proving that you can turn a thousand into two thousand or more, then you can sell that ability.
A bank is practically that, it holds the money of the people affiliated with that bank and works that money. You pay commissions to the people that gave you the money and have to be able to give back their money too.

So, with couple of thousands, he meant atleast double of what comes in, as you must be able to guarantee people's money.
This is only one of many things that banks do to make a profit, though.

bitcoin is decentralized cryptocurrency so no need of any banks. Everybody is a bank himself.

A bank would go against one of the key parts of Bitcoin, so no thank you.

a) 100% reserve banking? or
b) fractional reserve banking?

ad b) impossible and really wrong to want. we are trying to change the financial industry not to go back

it will be reserve banking with a percentage earning of the deposit,,everything will be in coins, no fiat,,i will do the trading and offer the percentage-thats all

If you're serious, I suggest you build a 30-story building in Manhattan, close to Wall Street, with marble-floors everywhere, and get the name of the bank in huge gold letters on top of the building.

Well said, Also be sure to have a few guards and a high devision for bank level security. It will only cost you around 732 million (estimation), you'll be able to earn this back in eeeeum.. let's say.. soonish.. kinda.. soon. Just consider my monkey idea, where they roll over big coins. One of the key of bitcoin is decentralization, and so we don't really need a bank for it....

we don't need a centralized system

This is a great idea for this stage, if all govements try to shut down the payment system, it really need a anonymous banking system to keep btc to continue exchange, and this may takes another 5 years, for long period, after everyone accept btc or other advance one, it may take evolution to deposit The real wealth for reflecting the btc's value.

It's not about the bank, it's about some kind of "trusted fund"...

Bank should have some kind of insurance / guarantor.
The one , who will pay when you'll be in total sheet.
You have no other way to get someones money.

Try to build simple exchange.....

It's easy to make bank based on successful exchange. Just add a new service.
It's hard to build anything based on nude idea. You able to build everything you want, where you have a development strategy. A simple step by step plan.

I try to be as much involved in them as possible.
I mine them with my poor videocard, so I dont get alot.
I trade to and im trying to get bitcoins everywhere I can, because i believe in them.
But thats the beauty of Bitcoins you dont need a bank, I have nothing against you.
I just developed a strong dislikes of banks, they are scamming and robbing the world with there interest on loans.
So I just want to see a better idea, i know you just want to get some bitcoins to, like everyone here.
If you want you can message me if you have a better idea, or we can brainstorm.

For sure i dont want to brainstorm with anybody,,ideas are for sharing..
And dont mess the actual banking system with bitcoin,,A bank of btc or other coins will help this new system to be spread also.
I exchange them also for profit and because i beleive in this -as many people involved in this - more spread to the coin-any coin.
Btc is decentralized in a way- not completely, in this actual stage-and no bank or organization can change this.
Not all peoply know to store their coins securily, many people loose real money in exchanges,why not give a security of this coin?
The project of btc will finish when we all live with this and not with our f#@$# banknotes and banks destroying the world.
