Title: Sveinn Valfells [video interview]
Post by: pollen_bit on January 23, 2014, 12:51:08 PM
Sveinn Valfells is an entrepreneur, scientist and an angel investor. The first time I was introduced to Sveinn’s work was at Bitcoin London 2013, where he gave a fantastic presentation about the use of bitcoin in micro-states, and how his home country Iceland could adopt it.

Great interview.  There are so many different ways to look at and think about how bitcoin is going to play out in society.  It's always a pleasure to hear some well reasoned thinking.

If there is one country in the world that would adopt Bitcoin as the official currency, it would be Iceland. Let's hope it happens. Bit cold to go and live in though!

@Cubic Earth - Thanks. Sveinn is fantastic!
@empoweoqwj - I agree, re-Iceland adoption and low energy cost. BitCold could be their crypto name :)
