Title: how to mine testnet coins for the altcoin im creating Post by: antp1114 on January 23, 2014, 04:53:15 PM So i just finished compiling my altcoin and to test it without premining i was going to try to mine some testnet coins. I have two linux virtual machines running the program but they both have the same ip address. When i put the config file with the addnode = x.x.x.x they do not connect. Do i need to port forward or something or are they just not connecting because they are on the same ip address? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
