This is a positive move forward. The important thing to remember about the Channel Islands and in particular Jersey is that they are not "offshore" in the same vain as Panama, Seychelles, or Vanuatu.

Jersey is more "offshore light" so any positive moves by them is a good thing. Might even influence HMRC to remove this stupid "voucher" categorical they have on BTC. When this happens it will drive significant players within the Uk into the bitcoin and alt currency world.

I thought it already had been re-categorised  as private currency as opposed to a tradable voucher?
