Title: what's the best signature for a newbie?
Post by: quarkyplum on January 23, 2014, 07:32:17 PM
does the btc address ever work?
do faucets?
referral links?
forum-paid advertisement?

what brings in the btc? i don't think the btc address works, as in someone anonymously donates, so that can be a tip for Newbsters.

It's very rare that people get money randomly sent to you, but some people might tip you if you help them out. Doesn't hurt to put your address in your sig though. Faucets are a waste of time.

I agree with faucets you would have to work hours on end to earn like 5 cents
it's cool though if you want to get something in your wallet to see how it works

You can find a list of signature deals here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=333916.0

Primedice is the best but you cant participate until you have 50 activity.

I'd put my full name and address

:-D

Actually, I think a smart quote is nice as a signature.

Or if you have a website like I do, it's a nice place for it.

You can have both a paid sig and a quote, but you need ten posts to put a link in your signature.

You have a list of options here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=333916.0

I chose Bit777, we will see how it goes but it is great to be rewarded to do something you would do anyway
