Title: blockchain question Post by: coinviking on January 24, 2014, 12:54:12 PM I've been mining Dogecoin since yesterday on the pool https://doge.hashfaster.com/. Today I cashed out my earnings directly to my deposit address on Coinex. Here is the block chain address for my transaction:
http://dogechain.info/address/DMbv2Z4QA9X9BskE5RHYkYCWcHj8fHB82y This has been about 2 hours ago and still no notification of it on Coinex. Their contact support form isn't working so I can't ask them about it. My money has disappeared into a black hole. Is there some way I can tell from the blockchain how many confirmations this transaction has received thus far? The Doge network hashrate is very high at the moment, so I wouldn't worry about confirmations. It's confirmed many times for sure after two hours. All you can do is hope that their support comes online soon, it's most likely a problem at their end. It seems all a coin needs is a gimmick and people latch on to it. I don't see why they can't just latch onto BTC instead.
