Title: [ANN] BTCTK.com auction - being sold
Post by: BTC-TK on January 24, 2014, 04:23:48 PM
I would like to announce the opening of an auction as I have other projects that are taking way too much of my time and I can't deal with this currently.

The sale would include:
A) All the website content, fully functional PHP files and images.
B) The database schema with all the transactions/investments deleted.
C) No server setup or domain included as of now but you can bid for those separately.

All the players that currently hold investments or deposits in BTCTK.com will be refunded.

It is incredibly easy to integrate any altcoin into the existing system, the system easily supports that.

Visit BTCTK.com (http://www.btctk.com) to check us out and/or to test our system with Testnet BTC.

I am willing to use escrow.

Bidding starts at 1BTC, only 0.05BTC increments, the bidding will last for 1 week since this post.

Just to clarify, this is a 100% functional website, along with graphics, design, Javascript code, a professionally done logo PSD and sounds.

Got any income / traffic figures to share or didn't the project get far enough along for that? Tia

Had about 3BTC invested and 2 users have bet. There is little statistical data since we just launched 9 days ago, I really feel that this website has a huge potential since you can hook up any altcoin in minutes and have everything working but I don't have nearly enough time or resources to put into promoting it right now  ;)

OK thanks for info. Its a bit sad you are selling 9 days after launch, but understandable if you don't have the resources to promote the thing.

It's kinda sad for me to give up on this as well. I have other businesses that need my attention more than ever, this might not be the perfect project for me currently but I could definitely buy something like this 2 years ago.

How much PHP is used to produce this website? Total filesize of .php files would be fine as answer.

Thanks. So that's 175K of pure PHP? Few thousand lines of code possibly? Is this all written from scratch or any libraries included in that?

The 53KB is all written from scratch but the PHP files have html within, there is a decent amount of code, more than just-dice I'd bet.

OK thanks for the complete info. Much easier to evaluate now whether to make offer or not, for me at least ;)

Based on your trust rating what stops you from reselling the source code?

You can search my posts and investigate why I was given a negative trust and I was given negative trust by some guy trying to blackmail my casino into paying him BTC.

I am now waiting for 1BTC from the buyer, if he changes his mind I would relaunch the auction.
