Post by: zolfa on May 26, 2018, 03:06:20 PM
remember again, at January that peter predicted bitcoin would fall sharply, but he also saw that bitcoin has the potential to persist for a long time. and it happens today.

to whom else would you believe?

i don't know who this dude you are so excited about is :) but just because someone made a guess and that came true that doesn't make them "good predictors". it is like gambling, you can win a dice roll even on the lowest chance but that  doesn't make you a profit if you win.

I would belive myself, i know if something is worth and bitcoin is worth it. I do not need some analyst to tell me what to do. We are where we are because we blindly follow what they tell us. Anyways never heard of that peter fella

There are thousands of so called analysts and every so often one of them will have some correct predictions.
Don't put so much faith in that as the bitcoin market is not really predictable  ;D.

Just imagine how many people predicted something about Bitcoin. Someone said that it will fly to the moon, someone said that it will fall down. There is always 50/50 :D

An educated guess maybe? but hey, lemme ask you this, how many prediction did he make over the past years in crypto? and how many of those came true? I'm sure you only got to follow the correct ones because the wrong predictions did not get any attention so is forgotten already or he deleted it in the platform where he posted to.

I will believe if those predictions have some solid basis or evidence on where they can argue their claim.

They are very simple predictions, lots of people make predictions about coins everyday, some come true some not that does not make them good predictors for sure, not seen a legend like masterluc.

In January. Please. That was super late. Most accurate predictions of when Bitcoin bubble will pop was in middle of January. I do remember many called it when Bitcoin reaches $16500. Few days latter or was next day was ATH and that was it.

Just because he made one (somewhat) correct prediction, doesn't mean that he's a genius and he is able to predict everything else. If he was right, then bitcoin should be seeing a drop to $1k or below, as that was his original prediction.

It's obvious that we're in a bear market, and that we are most likely going to continue our way down until at least the end of the year. However, I don't think that we're going to see prices as low as $1k as the buying pressure at those levels are just too great.

If he did say that bitcoin will survive this, then I agree. Bear markets are just a part of the market cycle of bitcoin, it does not damage the long term viability of bitcoin itself.
