Title: Do you want to know which countries where cryptocurrency is not allowed?
Post by: cryptoaddictchie on May 27, 2018, 06:05:26 AM
Hi everyone if you're all wondering which part of the world cryptocurrency is not totally allowed here's a link that discuss some major restriction on few countries.

https://bitnewstoday.com/market/bitcoin/countries-where-the-cryptocurrencies-are-banned-busted-for-bitcoin/

On my opinion its only a matter of time before these countries prohibit the cryptocurrency in their jurisdiction. Why? these countries are not that poor and the power of social media is too strong not to entice and invite people on joining this investment.

Especially those rich one who wants to earn also. Maybe on their places cryptocurrency is illegal and they know the risk if caught doing it. That's why I understand some remain anonymous. Reason? simple maybe they are belong to these countries.

so my country banned bitcoin  :o  now  what  ?!  lol im confused . that make me a criminal ?

Edit : after some search it seem that i can't buy / sell / trade  bitcoin   in my country   but  i can still do the same activity i used to do .
That mean i can trade  btc  since exchanges are not located in my country   but  in order to buy  it or cash out i need to ask some friends that live outside my country to cash  then send the money via pay pal  :)  .
So it's basically nothing big or important  .

It's very interesting in China, the trading is banned, but many big exchanges are ran by Chinese, such as Huobi, Okex, Binance ....

Article is mentioning Vietnam "prohibited for financial institutions" but actually it is not clearly regulated.

Also, government is willing to legalize crypto in a near future: http://vietcetera.com/vietnam-begins-process-to-legalize-cryptocurrency-and-digital-assets/

Any country that bans cryptocurrency is literally retarded.  You will be shotting yourself in the foot because of the massive blow to your economy.  once crypo gains full steam and is totally adopted you will be losing out on a massive amount of revenue when people are looking to spend their crypto.  They won't be spending it in your banned country!

indeed now many countries that prohibit the circulation of bitcoin. They range from fraud by using bitcoin, until bitcoin is said to be used to finance terrorist groups. but Each country has its own legal considerations of bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Some classify bitcoin as money and legal, some consider bitcoin as either legal or illegal. such as in the United States and Japan that still regard Bitcoin as a legal currency that can be used for digital transactions.
