CPU:Intel E5200 2.5ghz(Accirding to intel website it uses 65watt.As its been like 5 years I am assuming 70watt now) Mainboard:Gigabyte G31 Ram-2GB DDR3 HDD:Samsung SATA 250GB PSU:Corsair CX750 GPU:Sapphire 280X dual-x overclocked edition I heard 280X uses 260watt power during mining,not sure though.Can I add another 280x on this psu considering all the other hardware's needs? Title: Re: 2X280X on a 720w psu possible? Post by: titan-000 on January 25, 2014, 07:23:08 AM is possible, your system needs ~500-550w.
for example, my rig 2*asus r9 280x, celeron 1620, 8gb, 320gb, PSU corsair AX760 consumes 500w from outlet without overclocking Title: Re: 2X280X on a 720w psu possible? Post by: DrG on January 25, 2014, 07:49:13 AM If the AX is pulling 500 at the wall, internally it's about 460W (before conversion losses). Buy a Kill-a-watt to measure at the wall pulls.
