Switzerland has been named the most blockchain-friendly country in Europe by the Blockchain Conference Europe 2018. Study results released at the event website identified Switzerland as the best country to start a blockchain business.

Gibraltar at second place, and Malta at third joined Switzerland in the list of the top 10 countries to start a [Suspicious link removed]pany. Other countries that make the cut were United Kingdom, Denmark, Germany, Portugal, Netherlands, Finland, and Belarus in that order.

What would be effect of this good news ?? What is your suggestion to make a crypto friendly country?

I think all the european countries and slowly accepting and implementing blockchain technology across various sectors, i am sure this phenomenon will spread across the world nd blockchain tech will become household stuff.

Switzerland is one of the countries which have legalised crypto currency a long ago. Even there're a lot of companies who got motivated to work with crypto seeing this initiative. I hope there'll be more countires who will adopt crypto currency in this 2018.

starting a blockchain business doesn't mean to start a crypto. When they say "best country to start a blockchain business" they mean for start-up in fintech or something else, it's not referring to crypto

Yeah I think the european countries will be the first ones to adopt cryptocurrency usage in daily lives as well. There are already a lot of crypto friendly regulations, low taxes for them, and so on, so we're off to a great start.

It is called as crypto valley, most projects based on switzerland but actually they don't work there so I don't know how it be a real valley.

Over time, all countries will accept bitcoin and crypto money. Some countries are trying to earn money from this business by doing a taxation study. States that the future can see a good relationship with bitcoin :)

Switzerland is one of he peacefull country in Europe and I am really happy to know that it has become most block-chain friendly country in the Europe. It proves that cryptocurrency is not harmful for the people. If it is so than Switzerland would never accept crypto currency.

That’s great news. The step taken by Switzerland reflects that cryptocurrency is being accepted by so many people out there. To make a crypto friendly country, the government must be open to the cryptocurrency market and should not impose unnecessary taxes.

This is a good news to the crypto community. It is  a good thing when countries come to embrace crypto. Switzerland had shown a good ecample in the European world. I am waiting to know about other countries in other continents of the world that will take the lead. Cryptourrency is really the future. Investing into crypto now s a great privilege.

Actually crypto currency is now accepted in many different countries. Now it has crossed all of its restrictions that were prevailing in the market before. On the other hand, bitcoin is more favorable than other and now accepted but different countries than others. Among the Europe countries we can say the name of Germany, Swiss etc. ::)

This certain news affects the total freedom of cryptocurrency business to those countries being mentioned as the most friendly country, and hoping other countries would also follows on what switzerland doing. The good news from Switzerland is just a start, and we see that in the past year the European powers such as Germany and the UK have become more and more open to bitcoins, which may indicate that Europe is already very popular with digital currencies. Yeah, the news really is all about blockchain business but generally when talking about crypto-friendly as well, they are actually one of the most crypto-friendly countries in Europe and at least they have shown a high level of embrace to the crypto world which is what is making it easy for the Fintech industry and some other businesses around blockchain to wrap their head fast with respect to it.

In general though, it seems like most of the countries in Europe are actually taking blockchain technology seriously and are quickly seeing the potentials in adopting it pretty fast than other continents. Most European countries right from the onset really never had any problem with crypto in a way and they have always shown a great enthusiasm to learn from the space. As things are going, they may as well be the ones to quickly grab a lot of the opportunities surrounding blockchain business and technology as a whole which would obviously be a great step ahead for them. Swiss banks have always been attractive to rich people with thick wallets. They were happy to put their money in Switzerland banks because of loyal laws and a high level of security.

My suggestions for making a really crypto friendly country would be tax payment in cryptos like BTC or ETH.

In the future, the governments of all leading countries should have a clear plan for the settlement of the Cryptocurrency. It's obvious. Many good companies and projects are based in Switzerland. The active market development is also going in the Baltic region, and in Belorussia, there is much relief for this market!

If you look right, too. Because I just know average world project of crypto is from that country. But to be honest there are so many good projects born from there. This is not a matter of state, but because they are really intent on developing the projects they have.

In Switzerland since 2016 you can buy btc at railway ticket kiosk (and since 2018 you can buy train ticket with bitcoin)! They are one of the best crypto friendly country not just in europe but also in the world.

Big appreciation for Switzerland. In my opinion, Europe is one of the most friendly-country that welcome the cryptocurrency. Many countries are also allowed their citizen to join in crypto projects. Additionally, now the project comes from people from Europe countries, not only the Switzerland.

People living from those area are lucky. Their government is giving them a chance to become rich in the future, unlike with other countries that banned the cryprocurrency because they don't want their people to step up on their economic status so that they can control them.

I think that Switzerland is a self-sufficient country with a strong and very developed economy, which also affects the fact that they can look to the future and understand that the role of cryptocurrencies will be quite strong, and this country does not want to stay away.

Switzerland is certainly one of the leaders, but as in many other areas, Switzerland has to make an effort not to lose this status. The forthcoming decisions on regulation will point the way.

Not surprised Switzerland is the most crypto friendly country in Europe, this is because many ICOs come out there and don't operate out of there. Some of them are scams, and Switzerland has been known to be a safe haven for ill gotten money.

I think that you need to do so so that the states can control your cryptology slightly, because then the state will take a positive step towards it!
