For a crytocurrency to have value, we need to have more users to use it and more merchants to accept it, then the value will be determined due to the demand of the coin. To have more Users and merchants are chicken and eggs issues. Since we are have stock coin as the name of the coin, is it possible to have a listed company shares as the backing of the coin? My suggestion as follow: Change the algorithm of the stockcoin to have 99% premined, 1% (21 million) to be mined. For each share of the listed company share to "burn" in the central depository trustee (i.e. transfer to a trustee for safekeeping while not body has right to sell it) will exchange a certain amount of coins. This go on until the Central depository trustee secure enough voting rights to have a directorship in the listed company. The Trustee will appoint a representative as the director in the listed company, the representative will keep 1/3 of the director remuneration and 2/3 of the remuneration will be used to pay the trustee fees and to secure another listed company directorship, and so on. Theoretically, the stock coin value will go up and up as long as the trustee bring in more value. Just a rough thinking of how we can make this work.
