Maybe some day a newbie will post a poorly designed website pretending that he didn't make it and actually expect people to send money to the random address he put on it under the presumption that it would do some vague thing. That would be really nuts.

I've seen stranger things, viz. there's this one guy who put in mega resources to produce a Bitcoin-themed banner for Super Bowl XLVIII, but for the life of him can't seem to find a single fellow Bitcoin that's attending the big game to wave the said epic banner. That is really, really nuts!

Ok?

It does what it says:  If you send bitcoins to the address listed it'll randomly send 1mBTC to addresses with a non-zero balance. That's it that's all. 0.100BTC was sent out in 1mBTC increments and you can see those txid's in the blockchain.

and let me guess you have addresses all owned by you with random amounts in each. so that when the funds are moved to those addresses owned by you, you can show the funds have been dispersed.

clever idea, but at the same time too obvious

Ponzi! I'm SICK of seeing scammers post here willy-nilly. As BTC gains more traction, more people new to Bitcoin will come here to be part of it. With all the scam posting, it's not a good environment for that at all. Ban!

Not a ponzi, that doesn't make sense with this site.  It's not a scam, it really does chop up received BTCs into smaller amounts and send them randomly to other BTC addresses.  Not sure how to prove that.

I would agree this site isn't a ponzi... if it does what it says it does,

it sends out bitcoin to some lucky random people with active bitcoin address...

I do notice from the payments shown that the admin keeps roughly 10% for themselves.

But whatever, no one is going to do this, maybe when bitcoin first came out it would've been fun.

Nope, that's not how it works.  It parses the blockchain on a daily basis and updates its list of eligible addresses from that.  Right now there is about a half-million or so addresses that the site will randomly select to send the chopped up BTCs to.  None of the address that the BTCs are sent to are owned by the site.

We'll see if someone is baller enough... it will be fun to watch if they do.

The tx fees are taken out of the received bitcoins, the admins take a 5% commission.

Ah, So it is a benefit only for admin site? ITS A SCAM.

EDIT: I maybe a little to harsh, I take that back.

No more of a scam than any other businesses or services that takes a margin to cover costs and make a little profit. A 5% fee is pretty reasonable when compared against other bitcoin services out there.  This is no different, albeit unique, strange, and kind of exciting.

What I don't understand is why don't you take credit for the site.

The way you write it's like you stumbled upon it somehow..lol

It's obvious you are the admin, why else are you bumping it up?
