That's a fork right? I don't think that's scam. Since you will receive free Btcx2 on 1st July 2018 if you have bitcoin in your wallet address.
You will get free coin, even that worthless it won't affect you too much.

Did the BTCX2 really exit

It's a scam, stay away from it

checking their website it is an obvious dead project

- there is no wallet
- there is no exchange
- there is no source code
- there is no updates and the project looks dead in the waters.

staying away is advised.

But does anyone have any idea about the guys behind it? I mean can they be fished out and prosecuted should things not turn out as expected ???

I'm certainly not an expert, but judging by the name, it's total fraud. Have you read the white paper? Watched the product? Such names can be done very much, I would not trust everything that contains "Bitcoin"

At first glance i thought this is just a similar site with btc2x.com which is a hyip site but im actually wrong and i find out a different thing.

The funny fact i do see on the site is this.

I think it's a scam as a folk can't happen without news on some major crypto news platform like cointelegraph and other sites.

It's totally scam just like any other failed fork coin of bitcoin that has been getting 51% attack such as bitcoin gold. I have marked a joke word with a red paint. This is actually just another useless coin and should not be trusted. Use the original bitcoin code and then it's obviously a scam. Bitcoin gold has been giving a lot of promises like that.

Hello, hopefully this is on the general forum, please can somebody advise, bought some btcx2 last month, however, cannot yet see any exchange or wallet address, how do i trade or withdraw my money? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Kind Regards

Sadly, i can't find anything about their exchange. Looks like its just another failed fork coin like Endikadija said above. But idk, everything can happen.
But based on their site
try to check your account section or dashboard or go to their social media account to see their recent news.
