They are a escrow exchange and untile now  have  done  a  good job.

they hold the sellers BTC and the buyer directly transfers money to the seller. once the seller gets paid BitQuick transfers the BTC to the buyer.

I would suggest to stop using mtgox prices as the reference price you show on BUY page of bitquick.in. They are no good now for real trades and would mislead buyers.

I wanted to place a sell order. But I didn't see my bank in the list. Can you please add Kotak Mahindra bank to the list.

Be a bit careful dealing with Bitquick.in . I missed their To&C and when my sell order was lying there for a long time and I wanted to cancel and withdraw my order, I got a penalty of 0.02 BTC. Even with the low price of BTC that amounts to 600ish INR. Too steep.

that's ridiculous. 1% trading commission is too high.

BTC community in India should come up with a good exchange if BTC has to get mass adoption

If the transfer or deposit receipt is received on time, Bitcoin will be released to the buyer’s provided Bitcoin address within 1 business day, usually instantly. This can take up to 24-48 hours on holidays.

To cancel a sell order and remove your Bitcoin from the escrow address and back to your original address, email orders@BitQuick.in. You must include your modification PIN in the email. A 5% fee, at a maximum of .02 BTC, fee will be deduced from the withdrawal sum.

Do you seriously think someone will buy or sell his btc on your site after reading your TOS?

Also what security practices you are following to stop scams or fraud transfers? except asking for ID proof in some cases.

Localbitcoins also doesn't charges any fees for selling coins and they don't charge any fees for withdrawal too.
There's no doubt people will obviously prefer localbitcoins and those who used your site will probably never use it again.

LocalBitcoins.com escrow charges 1% and if you want to talk about security, they have had several XSS exploits and server outtages. Have either of you tried our service yet? We've done over 4 BTC in orders today alone.

No they don't. They only charge 1% from the users whoever is running a ad and yes they had* and even 1% is better than your 0.02 BTC.

Not comparable. LocalBitcoins is 1% charged to the person who lists the coin for sale in escrow, and it is free to cancel the order and withdraw your coins.

For us, it is free to sell and we charge the withdrawal fee for cancelling the order.

BitQuick is different than LocalBitcoins in that we oversee each and every transaction to make sure things go smoothly. We aim to make the process simple. If you like to have the ability to set your own payment terms and control your own funds, then feel free to use LocalBitcoins. I also certainly don't think any of this warrants the hostility.

No they don't charge 1% from seller or buyer (They only charge 1% if you want to make an ad on their website)
One person can simply visit https://localbitcoins.com/sell_bitcoins and select any buyer then sell his coins for quick payment. (In this case buyers who are running their ad will pay fees) and I raised question about 5% or 0.02 BTC withdrawal fees because most people don't read TOS and by placing a withdrawal fees you are literally forcing them to sell their coins on your website. No wonder small amounts like 0.05, 0.08 BTC are stucked on your site from many weeks/months.

You are correct, the 1% fee is only charged to those who wish to make an ad. We understand your concerns about the lack of clarity regarding our withdrawal fee, we will make sure that it is made more clear on the site. Terms of Service are very important, however, so it is recommend that users familiarize themselves with the TOS of any service that they use if they are unsure about something or weary of any fees that they might not immediately be aware of.
