Title: WARNING- Scammed by bitcoin blenders
Post by: xelnaz on May 28, 2018, 08:41:58 PM
Dear reddit and darknet users,

Beware of utilising crypto currency mixing services such as bitcoin blender (refer to all links below links) Below are the blockchain links to my wallet and the deposit address along with an attached image confirming there is no BTC within the account.

Now I realise this was a small amount of BTC/mBTC but regardless consider the following a WARNING.

The following tor links are all owned by the same entity and do not use them under any circumstances..

bitblenduun5mnwp.onion (http://bitblenduun5mnwp.onion)

I have tried contacting support on several occasions and received no response. Roughly 10 messages sent to support)

All addresses show there was the amount of 3 mBTC sent to each address and there's nothing in my wallet in the tumbler site as shown in the imgur image.

Be warned not to use their services.

I think that you're generalizing. You had problems with bitblender, but you're saying that all mixing services are bad. It's interesting that even though that thread in scam accusations exist nobody from bitblender came to answer it. They have a signature campaign on the forum so they must be coming here to check things out.
It seems that you've been using these addresses for some time because there are previous payments there.
1PBM8JU1RVzTgWp75R31wpF9f7CboFeWTK you sent them some money in February and it was all fine and then you sent in May and the money disappeared. I doubt they wanted to scam you because they processed the bigger payment and lost the small one.

This is the last response I got from the proprietor of the tumbling service,

Read his response in thread linked below and my replies back to him.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/8mmxb9/warning_scammed_by_bitcoin_blenders/ (https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/8mmxb9/warning_scammed_by_bitcoin_blenders/)

Many users have had issues with both of the links associated below

bitblenduun5mnwp.onion (http://bitblenduun5mnwp.onion) (Supposed phishing site)

bitblendervrfkzr.onion (http://bitblendervrfkzr.onion) (The only correct URL according to him) Though users have proved both services are scams.

I find it strange such a reputable "tumbling service" says that he doesn't interact with people via the forums, His last login here was 2 months ago and his last post on reddit was 1 year ago. If you have a large and reputable tumbling service what use is it where people can only interact with you via your site and not reddit like all other existing tumbling services.

Take a read through these forums for example and you'll see most of the active tumblers and reputable tumblers participate in regular conversation and responses with their clients.

Also this address here 1PBM8JU1RVzTgWp75R31wpF9f7CboFeWTK was not used in February by myself nor was the account created on the link because I wasn't even browsing tor at that time.

Do you mind linking the signature campaign please.

Since everything is clear now (that you used a phishing website [according to your reddit post (https://archive.fo/DoqGE#84%)]), I suggest to edit/update your first post (including the title) accordingly (then lock the thread).

Do you mind linking the signature campaign please.

Thanks for the response,

It seems I was phished unfortunately.

Oh well, We learn from our mistakes as they say. Bitcoin blender the true onion address seems to be promising.

I've used it for years with small and large transactions and never had a problem.

Apologies for any bad reputation I have caused bitblender. Will update with future transactions with the service.
