Before I pen more about the subject at hand, have you read the rumor that somebody is still seeking a fellow Bitcoiner that's attending Super Bowl XLVIII to wave a banner I he had designed, then printed, inside MetLife Stadium during the game so that FOX Sports can capture the event, live, to be seen by their 100M+ viewers?

Although there's not an official name for this race yet (suggestions?), the goal is to have several dozen flags (bounty in place to garner designs) in the hands of seasoned mountain climbers who are planning to ascend Mount Everest this summer, 2014 (maybe this'll become a yearly event).

Once a domain name is procured, based on the name of the race, I'll have Rassah (he loves me) act as escrow to secure the bitcoin donations to be paid out to the first climber who completes the task, viz. document the planting of the sponsored Bitcoin-themed flag atop Mount Everest.

Ideally, the B2ME Prize (just brainstormin') should be over $1,000 USD to make it worth their wild, of which would offset the high cost they have to dole out to climb Mount Everest regardless if there's a possible prize to be won or not. I remember reading that required insurance is $10K USD, or more, alone

This would be pretty cool but I doubt we have many climbers among us.

Wish they advertised Bitcoin instead of RedBull when they did the RedBull stratos !

Doesn't have to be a Bitcoiner. But to be able to claim the prize, they would need to have a wallet address in place or at least use a payment provider like BitPay.

Nice attempt, but a tad weak, I believe, considering I somewhat suggested the following in the OP: B2ME Prize. That, too, may miss the mark.

On second thought, perhaps The B2ME Prize is brandable.

With a shitload of shit to do, albeit it fuckin' freezin' outside (-32⁰ F windchill), I find myself having to pen yet another thread, related to this endeavor, but much, much more advantageous for both entities concerned.

Cool idea.

I've toyed with the idea of climbing Everest before but unfortunately don't have the physical or mental capability required  :)

It would be good for Bitcoin though to associate with something like this.
