First I have created the source code and the windows wallet so you guys can start mining.
This week I’m going to make the webcoin website and give the qt-wallet a better look.

What’s done:
Created source.
Created windows deamon and wallet.
Logo.

What is still needed:
Mac wallet
Website

I encourage you to hold your coins to make them valuable, I will hold the ones that I mine for at least 1 year.

Yes I have the node in the .conf... Maybe the node is in amazon.. and I don't mean the cloud service provider, I mean the jungle.

The one node provided is down, which means the whole network is down.  Going back to leafcoin until this is resolved.

Someone sitting on the node minting block after block after block...  Never had this much trouble getting a block before...  ALL REJECTS!  Up to 4800 blocks already...  Willing to bet a single user has a HUGE wallet by now!

Has happened to me at least 10 times already, I'm done with this coin unless this stops.

this is normal until the diff rises on these low diff fast block coins. I guess some whale is feasting.

Should get better as diff rises and blocks slow down a bit...

I'll get at least 20 blocks if i can due to the name, it is good name and i would like a bit for the crypto collection.

Maybe also whales pull out soon .

the OP is mining on the node and it solving them quicker then you are. So when your 'solved' get reported to the networks the network says someone else found it first and removes it from you.

that hash is not correct i have about 4 mh on it , and mostly rejects and orphans i have nearly 2 full coins so about 20 blocks nearly.

ALL COINS ARE GOING TO ONE ADDRESS (probably hardcoded)

QWdA9Gdx7gm6oHQLyzg4Rdtuf4P137DXVD

That is NOT my address.  Dev failed massively.

DO NOT MINE.

which block explorer are you using to see this? i have got 20 blocks so people are getting some. I think too many people chasing the blocks so most are getting only 1 or 2 per 10 mins or more.

No block explorer.  I screencapped the info bubble that popped up when I mined a coin.  Showed up as unconfirmed for 1 sec, then disappeared.

Compiled linux wallet no problem, mining like crazy, lots of rejects and orphans, but this is expected at this diff (0.00195311 at the moment), so far looks like nice coin.

better if the dev premined this shit ,
he hooked some few mhash in lan and getting all blocks , while we all are wasting time on all those reject .
8200 block so far , and it clear that 90%+ WENT TO THE DEV WALLET .

Another shit of coin

If it's accepted, shouldn't I have legitimately gotten it?  I've had plenty of rejects.

Quote
Generated coins must mature 120 blocks before they can be spent. When you generated this block, it was broadcast to the network to be added to the block chain. If it fails to get into the chain, its state will change to "not accepted" and it won't be spendable. This may occasionally happen if another node generates a block within a few seconds of yours.

Esteem about solo mining.
Can understand!

this is normal until the diff rises on these low diff fast block coins. I guess some whale is feasting.

Should get better as diff rises and blocks slow down a bit...

I'll get at least 20 blocks if i can due to the name, it is good name and i would like a bit for the crypto collection.

Maybe also whales pull out soon .

Whales yea right!  The network hash was at 1 Mh/s when I started!  Not a single found block!

that hash is not correct i have about 4 mh on it , and mostly rejects and orphans i have nearly 2 full coins so about 20 blocks nearly.

While you were posting about nodes and not being able to connect, I was already connected and mining...  I'll repeat, there weren't any whales when I first started.  Never had this much trouble with bat, qqc, pxl, and a ton of others.  Again, something WASN'T right at launch, someone was sitting on the node!

That means it will retarget every 2880 blocks. Due ot the low diff and hash on it that does not take that long to mine.

Good name on this one, makes it worth a little hassle.

webcoin the more i think on the name the more i wonder why nobody has taken that already.

Let's hope the dev does go with this coin somewhere. 600k minting is tiny... that is less than DMD.

Title: Re: ANN WEB!! WEBCOIN

difficulty just multiplied x4

That should pretty much solve the orphan issue.  ;)

Now everyone can gripe about difficulty. Next adjustment in 2880 blocks so at block #14400 so about 4 hours if we do not lose any hash power. Then we will see another jump. Now is the time to get some WEB if you want them.

It’s a new proof of work scrypt coin!

Name: Webcoin
Symbol: WEB
Blocktime: 1 min
Block diff target: 2 days
Coins per block: 0,1
Coins will be halved every 3 years.

Max amount of coins will be around 600k.
There will be no premine!
