Lately, the cryptocurrency markets have been through a lot of turbulence. Bitcoin Prices have dipped further than expected and altcoins were hit badly with the recent hacking incidents associated with Verge and Bitcoin Gold. Now that this week the market is on its way to recovery, crypto enthusiasts are eyeing top-5 crypto for their performances and to decide which one is the safest bet to make under the present conditions. One such cryptocurrency is Litecoin that’s currently making its way towards recovery signifying that it’s still not too late to invest in Litecoin. I think that all of the prices of the coins especially the altcoins will do well. The reason that the prices of the alts are suffering is because the price of bitcoin itself is suffering, once we start seeing some real progress in the price recovery of bitcoin then the prices of the other coins will start doing well too. You shouldn't worry about litecoin, it is a good project which will do well.

Actually, the price of litecoin and other coins somewhat dependent on the price of bitcoin. As a result,the other coins are also facing price fall due to the price fall of other coins. However, Litecoin is doing good to compete in this vast competitive crypto market. I hope i'll have a good future further.

Yup, we see this thing in the past when bitcoin falls no altcoins are pumping hard, so expect altcoins to depend on the movement of bicoin. The price of ltc is doing great this year and I know it go even higher just keep on holding and you can have a good future with ltc.

The whole market is struggling not just LTC, I think that we won't see a real recovery unless BTC pass 8k again, I hope it will happen soon, maybe in mid of June. But in general, I do not like LTC I always think it is a coin without any purpose, just a coin that lay in the middle without a real use.

The reason why Litecoin is recovering so slowly, is because it depreciated less than other coins during the bloodbath. I swappet half of my LTC for ETH when the ratio was around 1:3.

Although the price of Litecoin depends on the price of Bitcoin, and since Bitcoin now has to recover and the price of alctoins will also go up, I still think that Litecoin is not the best coin in which to invest.

Litecoin being down is just normal as bitcoin goes down as well. Base on my understanding, the value of alternate coins are somewhat dependent on bitcoin. It makes sense since we need to convert alts to bitcoin in order to become fiat money. Litecoin will always bounce back just like bitcoin. It already established itself as a top coin, it won't go down easily. If I were you, I will take advantage of the situation and  buy alts while its cheap.

Yes, I agree with you. Litecoin is currently one of the most promising coins in the market. To many investors, it is more secure to invest in Litecoin.

LTC may grow for a long time, but I don't think LTC is suitable for investment now. We can think of LTC as a huge growth project. Last year, its founder sold LTC to my memory, perhaps investing in other coins would be a better choice.

Litecoin is a solid coin with a solid foundation. It's been here for long like Bitcoin and survive obstacles that they face. I think this is one of a good investment to hold. I've been holding since  the day I first trade in cryptocurrency.

I doubt that Litecoin will soon be able to return to its performance. It seems to me that this coin has deteriorated in recent months. The paraben value of $ 400 was the best indicator of this coin.

Not just litecoin, most of the altcoins are actually struggling to get back to the game and I am sure they definitely will as it seems the trend is beginning to look positively as the case may be for most of them and since the sentiment about June as a whole is positive, I guess we will have to see how they are all going to be coming up anytime soon. I am not sure yet though if there should be much to expect from LTC, but time will give us that info.

At present, most altcoin is at a very low price, so not only LTC, but also most altcoin can be invested.

Who knows, chances are still open especially when we are dealing with Chinese coins, this project already been popular when bitcoin domination occur, so who knows what will happen the question is, if there's still investors and traders that will support and continue to play aside from those Chinese players that always looking for opportunities.

Litecoin is in the buzz for many reasons. Lee has been doing great work recently and even marketing it widespread. Holding some Litecoin for a long time and we may see it go up soon.

only newbies keep their eye on top5 and limit themselves. the real traders are looking for safe investment (bitcoin) or most profit (other coins that are currently getting pumped big time).

when it comes to altcoins nothing is ever safe with all the pump and dumps that they have.

litecoin is the only altcoin that always follows bitcoin up. and we are waiting for that to happen for LTC to also go to moon.

Litecoin has proven its place in the market. When i started getting involved with crypto, bitcoin has been the entry point. But along side its popularity, litecoin has always been in the pathway. Litecoin has slowed while bitcoin continued to grow. It has not made any improvements for quite a long time now and yet it managed to stay in the market and now slowly striving to emerge to somehow become one of the greatest.

There might be a chance for litecoin recovery even after previous dump litecoin is taking stable position hope it’s preparing for next bullish run . I think Neo also better investment for next bullish run . Now it’s price is very less I expect neo will reach atleast 2x

Litecoin seems to be doing a great job holding onto it's prices for now. All of the coins in the market are obviously struggling to get back in the game and litecoin is no different, I believe in the coin and in the things that the coin will end up achieving

in my opinion LTC very easy to use, stable project, plus they have a great team, I keep it for a long time.

Yeah, it has been somewhat disappointed, the ltc prices have been floating in this range from many many months especially when we analyse in terms of btc value, the ltc has been mostly ranging in between 0.015-0.02 btc from very long time, i think it should have been 0.04-0.05 by now, lets see what coming weeks and months will bring for ltc.

LItecoin can get back into the game even if it down. Over the years, it has served as an alternative to bitcoins,though it is quite without much popularity but it is a must coin to have .

Yeah, i don't see the point of litecoin anymore after bitcoin has lightning network, in my opinion litecoin is just a poor bitcoin and a medium for trying updates. There's other better digital currency than it and people prefer bitcoin as a store of value. It used to be a good coin but it's not relevant anymore.

Yes they are struggeling but the thing is its not gonna make any possible results to them based on this their market share is down and this coin is not so familiar also based on this btc have this face value in the market and many people invest money in here and they are earning lots of profit.   

I do not think that litecoin is struggling at the moment. It is 6th on the coinmarket cap and it is not a bad position at all. Litecoin have already proven to the people what it can do and what it can bring. Investing in litecoin is a wise decision. Many people believe that litecoin can change the payment system with its lightning network. DOnt underestimate litecoin like that

We never know what will happen in the future. LTC however primarily dropped out of the market in recent days. When we look back then we see that how LTC used to be top 3 ranked coin and had lot of volume everyday. But that trend went off the box in the recent month and whole crypto has started to look after other opportunities. Thus making LTC look like old master with no value in modern days now.



Somehow I think that it is very struggling period for it as the competition has risen a lot these days. LTC is no where in that one.

 If bitcoin will soar again then there is no doubt that all altcoin will regain their value, especially Litecoin that has a remarkable price last few months, yes it is not too late but a right time to invest.

As far as the hacks with verge and btg, they didn't do anything to hurt the crypto market, the reason is because the serious investors (the ones that have the power to actually influence the market) don't take verge or bitcoin gold seriously at all.  They are pure shitcoins.

And then with people "eyeing" top 5 crypto to see which is the safest bet, that is also not true.
The vast majority of people see the top 5 coins (in fact, even the top 20) coins as being overvalued.
The "safest" coins would be from top 50 to top 200.

Now, when it comes to Litecoin, there isn't any reason to expect it to fail.
It is an oldie, so has stood the test of time, and has active development on it.
The blockchain is lighter and faster than btcs so there is a good future for it.

It turned out to be one of my worst alts I have bought.Bought it when it was at an all time high and look where it is now.Thank you Charlie Lee for dumping it on us .

Litecoin has been one of my choice since then and they are pretty much underrated nowadays.

But it's consistency is making me want to stick with this coin although I'm thinking of disposing it and putting all of it to bitcoin.

Yes, I believe that litecoin will get back in crypto because it is not the only coin affected by the fall, other altcoin are also affected including ethereum. The fall in price of bitcoin affect almost all the coin and I am sure as soon as the market recover,coin will begin to rise and litecoin will not be an exemption.

Litecoin is not so promising for me. I think that it is not so competetive alternative cryptocurrency than ETH or EOS, for example. LTC will be dead soon I am sure.

Until now LTC is still ranked 6th on the coin market, there is even an increase, so it still has a pretty good potential. Until this moment many coins are green, a pretty good trip.
