It seems Sherm was doing cash transactions with BitKing(Robert Faiela) who sold BTC for cash to the silkroad users. But sherm stopped trading with him in 2012 when bitinstant stopped accepting cash payments.
Sherm and Faiela are alleged to have traded 1million$ in cash.

P.S: I adore DOGE  ;D

They shouldn't have had the Bitcoin Foundation in the first place .. some schmuck gets arrested from there and people start selling like noobs .. forgetting that BTC is DECENTRALIZED ... anyways the guy hasn't been around doing much in/for the community of late.

I was always against the foundation and any centralized group that proposes to talk on behalf of the btc community.
This goes for the Indian one. i dont recognize them nor do i support what they do.

Decentralization is the core of bitcoin, even communities need to be decentralized, with no power structure.

Absolutely agree. Just because of some stupid  arses in that foundation everybody has to suffer ... life everybody almost lost $50 ... just vanished in thin air because of some guy like that.

About the Indian BAI .. yes .. I don't like the way they went about it as if they "represent" us and guess whats the first statement they make : stay away from bitcoin. Its only laughable that the thing your trying to promote you are asking people to stay away from it (maybe at the behest of those smart ass lawyers but thats immaterial).

So yes as you said centralization hurts, specially to bitcoin which is in its infancy.

The Indian bai represents 3 or 4 trading groups. they do not represent more than that.

There is a need though for a central group that can lobby in the direction of current regulatory regimes. Right now there is no one who can truly support groups across India on their own steam.
