Title: Hi, The forum has a DNS problem stopping password changes and possibly regos.
Post by: bugreporter on September 12, 2011, 02:17:29 AM
Hi..  This isn't my usual login.
I couldn't change my password because I did't recall my old one, and password change emails were not coming through.

It looks like the messages come from daemon@bitcointalk.xta.net  - but bitcointalk.xta.net isn't resolvable via Telstra Australia - so some mailservers will reject it.

Also - when using a tool such as dnsgoodies.com - there appears to be no MX record, A record or Cname record for the hostname bitcointalk.xta.net

I've no idea how many people this affects, but I guess it will also stop some new users from registering.
I managed to register ok using a gmail account instead of my normal one.

Cheers,
julz.
