Title: Bearish week, take care!!
Post by: pera on January 27, 2014, 06:23:17 PM
WARNING

We are about to start a really bearish week! There are bad news from everywhere: USA (BitInstant CEO/Bitcoin Foundation VC arrested), Russia (Bitcoin could turn illegal), China (January 31st).

I'm not telling you to sell... but maybe you should if you care about short-term.

God help us.

This forum is filled with bulltards. It's hard for them to face reality.

Well, Pera, each week is bearish for you since start of December. Though you weren't around too much after your ultra bearish calls got vaporized with heroic Bitcoin buyer orders :D

Saying that, yeah, we might see more moderate dips in next few days.

Quite opposite. Since November and big Bitcoin price rise, there's more beartards feeling bitter for missing the train (understandable that, though, I felt same back in March) that spread their FUD and act as smart ases trying to learn people with 4-5 years of BTC experience what to do.

Yeah, because holding Bitcoin has been a terrible way to "make money" the last three years. LOL.

I'm sure at some point things will change and one day people will pay you to take their bitcoins, but until then...

Riding the market is for bulltards. Beating the market by switching between hodling and shotrs is superior.

Whatever the case, it is not a non-story, and is not FUD. Simply put, no one knows the implications yet.

Bitcoin is looking like a fucking fantastic short at $790, an amazing short at $800, and a spell binding short at $810, if the low volume bounce creeps up that high.

Just wait until china wakes up!

Only 5 hours to go, I can't wait!

I've been around here long enough to have a different opinion.

The simple fact that the exchange you are using could disappear with your funds tomorrow (which has happened way too many times already) is enough of a reason to avoid day trading this market.

Let's not forget the tax hassles involved with fiat gains (losses) and holding foreign accounts.

Edit: Oh yeah, most speculators lose money. Almost forgot that one.

@dalmar, personally i think there should be a balance all of sort, holders, bulls and bear. maybe a troll/fudster or 2.  the troll and fud count is high right now though. my reason as a buy and holder for being in this sub forum is to be able to spot the dips and top up on dips. I have no plans to sell in order to buy more, because i watch people lose BTC and $ trying to do that. gamblers always think they cant lose, and though this has more skill involved, you cant be sure of whats next as matthecat's ravings have shown us this month.

@holliday +1

and thanks for the thread there is some bad news in the pipeline with russia and the VP arrested, but i dont think those things matter to most people. i dont see anything big playing out till end of month. january is still holiday season and the world is focusing on family or planning future business moves after done spending time with family but not currently making those moves.

I'm Bullish as hell but this time I can't ignore my gut feeling.

My hands aren't weak as I'm continuing to convert fiat to BTC as quickly as I can get it; but I don't see the price holding steady today. I'll short today at $790 and wait for tomorrow before I buy again.

I think it's going to be a wild day of up's and downs. I hope to increase my share of BTC. I guess we'll see.

No, the God of all creation, who surely knows as we do, as he can know the same confirmed facts, that bitcoin has failed, and the market is collapsing, as any TA can demonstrate by confirmation, especially in Russian and Chinese.

Bitcoin hasn't failed. In the WORST case it may be held by those who believe in what it actually stands for without respect to any specific fiat exchange value. You don't have to believe in it for it to be real.

So it is confirmed. Finally. Time to panic-shortr. NOW.

From here on, the only real successful option is SHOTRING.  Bitcoin will no longer be a successful asset to hold.  This has been confirmed.

I'm already following your confirmed bad news. SHOTRING is the only way out of this volatile thing without any intrinsic value. Paypal 4 life!

I'd look into Ripples if I were you.  Will probably be the next big thing.

Anyway. Paypal has to continue their good work and satisfy more and more customers every day!
