Since then, we have had China (Dec 5), India (Dec 26) and Russia (Jan 27) ban bitcoin.

So the only thing left is for bitcoin to win!  ;)

I think there'll be plenty more countries that will ban it before Bitcoin will be widespread and "successful."

It's simply a scary concept for countries and nations whose economy isn't the most solid to begin with. What they seek is economic control within their borders and Bitcoin facilitates the opposite.

IMHO the train has left the station

Best thing is that you cant argue with mathematics.

Whether bitcoin is money, currency, a token or you view it through a Austrian, Keynesian or whatever prism, it just is what it is.

So bring on the acceptance phase :)

Russia didn't ban bitcoin - they simply issued a warning. If you consider what China did a ban then we can't compare these two.
