Title: Automated Updating Wallet Block chains
Post by: cad_cdn on January 27, 2014, 11:11:06 PM
wondering if it is possible to update a wallet's blockchain if stored on a cloud drive (gmail drive, dropbox)
(not the wallet, just the block chain so that you always have a synced block chain?

and then, of that is possible, can you automate the updates?

Point being it would be nice to always have an updated client when you launch it.

Sorry, no idea about this.

Why don't you try a thin client in that case?

If you aren't mining, you don't need the blockchain. Use a thin SPV client like electrum or armory. Makes everything so much quicker.
