Title: Fixed Please Delete
Post by: Blazed on January 28, 2014, 02:19:42 PM
OK so here is the deal..  I use BAMT with the following updates:
ADL_SDK (2.7)
OpenCL SDK 2.9
CGminer to 3.7.2
AMD (13.11 beta 9.4)

I currently have 90MH hashing stable so I am not newbie to mining... (been at this well over a year)

The issues I have
On my 270X rigs they all fail to start X (MSI and Gigabyte 270X's 5 per rig)
Cgminer will not report fan RPM and Temps
Cgminer will not allow me to OC the gpu's via the cgminer.conf (no matter what I change clocks too the speeds remain around 390k

I get this error when i SSH every 270X rig:
xauth: (argv):1:  merge:  unable to open file /home/user/.Xauthority

I have tried newer AMD drivers no luck..

Try this :

Check the permission and username, usergroup of .Xauthority

ls -la ~/.Xauthority

It needs to be owned by you and the permissions should be -rw-------
To alter name and group:

sudo chown youruser:youruser ~/.Xauthority

To alter persmission to -rw-------
chmod 600 ~/.Xauthority

(Replace youruser by your username.)

then coldreboot

I will...the fix is temp and wont work after reboot... he is writing a script.
basically x init is broken and his script fixes it on boot.
