Title: [RESOLVED] Help Requested: Restored wallet shows 0 balance yet blockchain still Post by: Trader Steve on September 13, 2011, 12:57:04 AM Here's the head-scratcher that I hope one of you can help me with:
I restored a small savings wallet.cat file and opened the client. I waited for the blockchain to update and that went fine - the blockchain is now up to date. Here's the problem: the client shows a zero balance yet when I search the receiving address in BlockExplorer it still shows my balance at that address. Any idea what I am doing wrong? Do your addresses show up if you open the Address Book? Are you sure you're working from a recent backup (less than 100 transactions performed)? Could you let me know your address so I can have a look in blockexplorer to see if there's anything weird? You can PM me if you don't want to post it publicly.
