If you guys have any questions, hopefully, this can answer them. How-to mine with the new XMR Stak released about 6 hours ago.

Nice educational video

Do you know what percentage of the network has moved to the new mining software? I imagine the hashrate must be low currently, so it has to be beneficial for people who mine cryptonight to move to your coin. Can you share some insight as to how the fork was done. Specifically, to what extent was the algo changed, and is it now fully ASIC resistant.

Electroneum was the first ICO i participated. I sold all in the first day possible, with 7x gains. It was very good for me...
I am sad to see the coin price so low now, and people such as McAfee chilling it on twitter.

I really like the project, as a Monero fork and nice marketing. I hope electroneum recover from this terrible crash (90% down from ATH).

About the mobile miner, I didn't like it very much. It was easy to use, but the reward was sooo low, impossible to use for me. Like 1 cent per week lol

They did an update on the mobile miner a little while back. Hashrate is stable and the payouts are (semi) consistent. over the past month and a half of mobile mining I have collected about 460 ETN.

Here is a good website to check out the hashpower on the network: http://miningpoolstats.stream/electroneum

This is a difficult one. There are a few problems right now. Empty blocks, low hashpower for the difficulty, time between blocks is very high. You normally do not get paid until a block is mined. Since the pool has not found a block, you are not going to see a payment. The hope is that the pool finds the block and the Bonus system that is currently in place will pay out and you will be compensated for your mining effort.

there are very limited coin can be mined by cryptnight miner now, limited profit after most of coins forked...

This can only mean one thing. The network difficulty hasn't been adjusted for the new, much lower overall hash power. Shouldn't the developers have considered this fact before the hard fork? They could have roughly estimated the new hash power and reduced the difficulty accordingly.

etn devs are simply retarded...its not the first time they failed a fork

Exactly. Electroneum has a very bad dev team, but more than that, it also has a very bad management. They do not care about investors and actually are so profit-oriented. They earned $40 million worth of funding during their ICO but they squandered it all with no real new innovations.

Electroneum is a shitcoin you should dump now.

Did not: https://www.coinwarz.com/difficulty-charts/monero-difficulty-chart
hashrate adjusted in 3 days, Monero know their stuff, ETN don't.

When the monero forked I knew it will not be easy to mine until the difficulty adjusts but I supported the coin
now that the ETN forked i did not give a f**k becasue that guy Richards Ellys or whatever his name is, turned out to be assh**e (sorry about the stars, i did not read forum rules so i don´t want to get banned). It will take 720 blocks to adjust difficulty, how many ETN mined after the fork, 30 so far? And that is with help of Nicehash, probably the devs spent small percentage of money they earned becasue small part of them was feeling guilty

Mathematically, the difficulty should adjust downward weel before this. Electroneum has posted an update on they're Facebook page that addresses this part of your statement.

electroneum is a shitcoin and the way the etn fork was done clearly hows that the etn developers are quite incompetent.

Lol, right.
As I have mentioned before (in a "cryptonight ASIC" thread), Those newly released ASICs will determine if a cryptonight coin has good developers.
Monero did a good job with its recent POW Algorithm change, and the timing.
And actually, I'd expected Electroneum to follow right after before the hashrate skyrocket, but they didn't.
A little bit late but "they have money" to patch things up, but still... late.

P.S.: It's not against the rules to swear, as long as there's a constructive opinion alongside with it.
